In this video, we got to work on a Porsche Panamera ONYX COVERED in mud on the interior from head to toe, so we had to rip the whole interior apart, clean it and reassemble it, and then gave the exterior a good wash so in this video we show you our satisfying process to deep clean it and make an epic transformation!

I know Katzkin does a lot of customizable interior. It’s an OEM quality leather replacement for your upholstery. Includes the center console or anywhere else there is upholstery. You can order anything from basic black to custom color, including custom stitching options. I’ve used it twice to replace fabric interiors and I don’t have anything bad to say about the quality or fitment. Highly recommended to have it professionally installed. The upside to a professional, is that they can usually find replacement foam if needed.

You did a really great job on this Panamera and the result is amazing, it looks simply like new. The interior is definitively NOT my taste, much too flashy for a Porsche, but I say, every taste exists on Earth.

Seats and cushions could still have moisture and mold if it was underwater. If it is damp, it will come back.
I was thinking the same thing. Wouldn't the mold also be growing inside the seats as well as outside?
Not to mention the piping for the floor vents. Anytime you turn on the heat or A/C, it’s going to blow dirt and a nasty smell. That’s why flood cars are cheap. Lots of work involved.
@@Mer134 Yes, the inside of the seats are great for mold. Dark, and waiting for the humidity to rise above 60 or so. Maybe of the seats were taken apart, dried, and ozoned, who knows. Carpets I know are tossed if they are underwater more than a day. If the insurance just cleans them, and mold comes back, then they can really be on the hook. Leather Seat skins have a foam backing pad that can trap water. And the rubber/foam cushion I am sure is very porous. I know because I installed many heated seats.

I drive tractor trailer for a living ... Been doing so for 20 years...and I can tell you he more than most likely didn't even know ...those things empty are 30,000 pounds loaded they can be up to 80,000 lbs and as soon as he started turning to his right he would have never seen and probably didn't even feel what was going on to his left.
Big improvement. You can part out the body panels and wheels and tires, and the windows. Everything else, I would crush.

Try to use DRY ICE it’s Effective Fast and Safe.
One worksite I was at a few years ago, this happened with a snow plow. Plow clipped three vehicles and didn't even know. There was a ton of damage to all three. Yikes!

Anything but electrical is salvageable. Even the engine can be stripped of it's electric parts and would good resurface and reuse.

For all you detailing geniuses I need some help! I left some food in my Tesla’s front trunk for over two weeks and it rotted and the marek is stuck in the front truck. I’ve tried everything google said to do to get the smell out (baking soda etc.) but no luck. Anyone know of anything I can do to get the smell out?!

I don't think that's a hit-and-run. When the semi made the right turn, your van falls into the driver's blind spot; a hit-and-run is something you do in front of your eye.
Still, great video. Seeing such a nice car forced to be scrapped did hit me lil hard.
I would buy the whole car, open, inspect and repair all wiring looms. The ECUs fitted to the car I would send away for professional repair or replacement and the rest I would do myself.
I would also change the seats and other trim, not my taste at all.

Every light, fan, dashboard instrument, switch, electic motors, engine component and everything else might be compromised. Not saying you're wrong but it would be a hell of a gamble and a huuuge undertaking.
@@flemwad I understand that it would be a huge undertaking but I have good technical skills and I am retired so time is no issue. I think as long as I were to work methodically I could do it. Just need someone to donate a car like that to me, minor point lol.

I have no clue what I’m doing but it’s an amazing offer and I can’t turn it down. If you can give me any advice you can, anyone I would greatly appreciate it
