This video is such an eye-opener for first-time travelers to Delhi! It's amazing how you kept your cool despite the scams. What tips would you give to someone visiting India for the first time?
Thank you for watching! 1) do not drink tap water or eat raw vegetables/ meat 2) if you visit Delhi, stay in the southern part of the city as it’s more relaxed 3) locals are amazing but there is no concept of personal space and you will get “assaulted” by people who want to take selfies with you so be mentally prepared. Overall, i loved it but it might be an overwhelming experience
Avoid the usual places like Delhi and Agra. Go to the Himalayan states regions like Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and NorthEast. For beach experience, go to Gokarna or Andaman Nicobar Islands instead of Goa. And for tropical natural beauty experience, go to Kerala.
