I would find it quite invasive being filmed or seeing filming in the lounge / plane.
Would also say that it's difficult to gauge in business/upper on these flights, people use points etc, but at the same time centi-millionaires will fly business/first as long haul in Pj's can be a bit tight and expensive.
virgin upper class is a bad product anyhow, overpriced as well.

It's harder to take risks when you don't have family to fall back on and you've got health issues that cause performance issues... pretty easy to end up under a bridge...

If you were flying to Miami to collab with Ben Mallah then no harm getting some content along the way.
But imagine paying £6000 x2 and receiving the answers you did - cliché phrases like “love what you do” and short responses like “mitigate risks”.
I suppose these asking the rich how they got rich videos are based on the promise of “insider secrets” when there never are any. Gets views, though.

My partner used to work for a big law firm in London and we got massive discounts on business class and upper class flights with Virgin. Ticket she booked was $13,800 each. From london to LA. There was economy option with Delta for $550. There was no way that upper class flight was worth it.
Also very important with this youtube economy gig not to knock traditional education. Partner could never have got into a big law firm without her degree and masters. She came a multi millionaire before 30 offering a well respected and valuable service for society and set to make several million a year once she reaches partner level. Your son is doing a service: videographer and youtube that does not require any difficult barrier of entry. He probably had to think what he could do with no trade, no large capital investment in millions for a serious startup or elite university education etc

Stocks and shares ISA is only good if you have huge lump sums of capital to begin with.
That's completely wrong. The maximum you can put in is £20k per year so you can't put in a huge lump sum even if you had it. It's just a tax free wrapper so it's advantageous even if you're only adding £500 or some other small sum per year.

Thats equivalent to business class, not First Class.
Depends who you travel with - some airlines call them by different names. I travelled with a domestic airline when I was in the US and booked a "Business Class" seat when really it should've been called "Regular Class" difference was 2 seats side-by-side not 3 and extra drinks and snacks, c'mon! Should've saved the money and just went cattle-class like everyone else! Even had the same hostesses as everyone else - true business class have their own hosts and hostesses.
This year, I started buying stocks. I will be investing about 3k-4k a year. Wish me luck old fellow (boomer)

Get a very marketable skill, college or trade, live below your means, invest at least 10% of your gross income in a quality ETF or learn to trade stocks on a daily basis while working.

@@15sese That's techinically correct, but they have an updated seat on other aircraft that is the same class but a FAR better seat/experience. Also, back to my point, it's not called First class, it's called Upper Class. Tha''s like flying with a company who only offers Premium Economy (TUI for example) and calling it First Class because that's the highest class they offer.
Hi, the Airbus we flew home on had the new seats and they are much nicer. I generally fly Virgin because they are British and I’m very loyal. I have flown on other airlines and would consider upper class as first class, it’s just Virgins way of being different. Always a privilege. MT 😎
Virgin Upper class is not First class it’s really the same a Club with BA ( Business Class) in fact the new BA Club suite is far better than Virgin upper. The Virgin seating/bed is too hard & the seating configuration does not give privacy as you are facing a fellow passenger.
The virgin clubhouse is good but none of them compare to Emirates or Etihad as an overall package.

And the problem is that, a lot (not all) won’t be rich but be flying because their employer pays or they paid using points (like me)
@@marktilbury unfortunately you are wrong. The best seat Virgin Atlantic sell is the same class seat but on their newer aircraft with newer seat, where you effectively get your own little suite. What you flew on is nicknamed the 'coffin seats' and is amongst the worst business class seats in the skies - no privacy and a poor seat design. That's why you are going to get a lot of people commenting about this 🤣 At least you got some good engagement in the video.

Spending money on upper class is a great business write off so he pays less taxes and it means he can work harder as he feels more relaxed and rested. Your mindset changes once you are worth over a million. MT
