Bhai marco family kill scene is brutal and also senseless at the same time The hero kills countless with zero damage But in this scene he barely makes any sense And right after his families death He again becomes untouchable Didn't like it
Bcz he didn't expect someone who is strong as him in opposition (cyrus) and they had weapons that made them stronger at that time and the villian entry in house was unexpected for him

Female characters are NOT damsel in distress type in Malayalam cinema, they often has more prominence than the male hero 3. Every character in Malayalam cinema, however small the role, has their own personality and significance 4. Logic and story supersedes glamour of the stars (unless its stylized action films like Marco or quasi comic action films like Avesham) These are some features of Malayalam cinema. ❤
Pratik Borade who talks of ideologies missed the main points about Manjummel Boys. In Manjummel Boys Subhash was shown turning from atheist to theist, also Kuttan risks his life to save Subhash as Subhash had risked his life to save Kuttan in childhood. He didn't even mention the childhood flashback part in his review and only said "rote hi ja rahe the" in his whole review. Also he missed the friendship and bonding part of the group which was shown the line "aaye the ek saath, jayenge bhi ek saath". Pratik talks of ideologies and that's a good and much needed thing, but he should see the ideological points in detail. I have seen he misses some key ideological points in some movies too. I do like Pratik Borade for telling about truth of Bollywood but in last 1-2 months he has been very disappointing
Marko is the worst movie I have ever seen. I am not against on screen blood and brutality. But the climax of Marko is the worst. I was really aghast to see such a movie came from the Malayalam movie industry.
