Hey bro I just a question I get everything your doing track by Track but what do you got going on with the master at this point of the mix down nothing ?
hey great tutorial. been using ur tips and helps tons!!! I just have some questions about gain staging and panning. I see u never gain stage and lots of you tubers swear its the most Importen part. but ur master always around -2 - 0.00 db. isn't it important to stay under and about -6db before mastering? also for import for artist in there recording program so there is still headroom to master on. I get it that a 0 db mix is good for presenting a mix or a battle beat but is it good for placements? I also heard that if a artist plays a beat in the studio and its to loud to hard clipping its to hard for them to record on, think Kenny beats mentioned that. also you never seem to pain your drums much why that, thanks really you helped a lot
yes gain staging is very important for some genres more than others. For trap/hip-hop beats you can get away without it. Watch any of your favorite producers cookup and they do the same thing I do. I studied the hell out of them to learn the ways. When you send out beats and an artist is serious about writing to it, they will ask you for the stems so that they can have their mastering engineer remix the beat and their vocals. So by no means are you wrong with your statements, but also it doesnt need to be this complex for these beats
Hey! You don’t do any kind of gainstaging on your beats? After that you export by stems or an all mixdown to master? All of your sounds doesn’t have process before mix?
hey dude i love these tutorials. I just have one question. on my ableton (10 suite) (windows) i dont see the sidechain option even when I click the down arrow on pro q3. is there a work around to this?
Can you tell us The Secret to how you mix your beats for your intro videos... When I paid for your consultation you said it was kind of a secret when are you gonna show us that part??
there is no secret buddy. That a big misconception in not only music, but every skill that you will try to learn in your life time. everyone is always looking for the "one secret" that will automatically make them a pro, but thats not how life works. you have to practice and work hard to achieve that. Also you never paid me for a consultation, so dont spread those lies and try to make me look bad
@@FearlessBeatzMusic it's all good fam. You told me that though. When I asked what you use to mix the beats when you export them from ableton u told me that. It's all good tho
Btw if you dont have fabfilter you can use TDRNova EQ and sidechain with external source. Works nice too
UR SOOOO UNDERRATED MAN
I appreciate that fam!
Still making some really good videos!!! I go back and review from time to time and quickly get the principals and learn something new as well!!

instead of using pro q 3 to side chain just use the stock compressor it does the same thing and is a lot quicker
its not the same thing tho
Damnnn thats crazy

No I dont worry about gain staging, leave that for the mastering engineers
@@FearlessBeatzMusic but Gainstaging is part of the mixing process…
cool man
i noticed you didint use the return tracks A and B. Should you mix it down before you adjust A and B?
No I haven’t been using return tracks much lately
No you don’t have to mix them down earlier but you could. It’s honestly up to you and what works best through your testing
