Thanks a lot for the informative video...If possible please do separate video on interest conditions and other inportant terms & conditions to be known for pledging and what will happen incase of loss etc..
I have checked many videos, Nobody explains the timeline by when the money need to be returned back to broker and if any interest will be levied by the broker, after all, it is like borrowing money from broker.
There is no interest there.. until u have enough 50% cash margin.. you can not withdraw this amount.. or neither you transfer any one.. only use of this money is to trading there.. thats why no interst because broker will earn brokerage.. if you trade with that pledge money.
Hello brother, everything explained very well. I have a small doubt that if I pledged an instrument at 250 and my trade is going well till a year. Now after one year that pledged share value increased to 300. Now will I get that 50 rs profit after unpledging the total qty..? Or Zerodha will give back only 250..? How this pledging works in the profit parts
How does Zerodha make money when we pledge shares? I know that Zerodha charges interest on the cash component funded by Zerodha if 50:50 is not maintained by us. But is that it? Is that the sole source of income for Zerodha from pledged shares? Or does Zerodha lend out our securities to someone else through SLB?
Very nice, useful and informative video. Sir, request you to make a video on how shares can be transferred from Demat account of Zerodha to Demat account with other brokers in simple steps.
Hello sir, I always watch your videos but I have a problem. I want your help for this. I have started option selling and I have also made a working strategy but I am not able to follow the rules I have made. Always when there is a big move in the market, I just take random trade against my rule. I am continuously loosing money for doing this but still can't control my emotion. At the end I always realise if I stayed with my strategy I would have won most of the time. What should I do now.
