Thank you so much. Once again showing us how to change cards into male cards. Love the electric cutter. I’ve been thinking of getting one. But didn’t know which one to get. I love using the scraps to thicken up the cards without so much foam. You are so good. Thank you. Diane from Adelaide
Thank you for your lovely comments Diane, I'm happy to hear you liked these card designs. Yes, the electric die cutter is great, I did a lot of research beforehand and found Spotlight had the best price here (included a starter kit of freebies). XOX
Great cards. Thanks. So often “masculine” cards end up with themes like golf, cars, fishing, ties, camping etc. By the way, some of us are Canadian. 🇨🇦😁🇨🇦
Hi to you in Canada! I love Canadians, we've met many on our overseas travels, Aussies and Canadians seem to attract to each other 😀. I'm glad you liked my masculine cards, I agree with you, mostly they end up very themed. XOX 😀🌼🌸
Gorgeous cards Lucy . Can you please explain how you print sentiments from your computer. I love strip sentiments and would love to print some . Thank you
Hi Robyn, Yes, I can hopefully create a video showing how I print sentiments from my computer, I'll add it to my list for sure. Most of the sentiment strips I use are from Uniquely Creative. They come in an A4 sheet with 4 sets of sentiment strips on them (so that's heaps of strips!) and they're only $1.50AU each. They're a thicker card weight as well, you've probably seen me use them a lot, you can find them here www.uniquelycreative.com.au/collections/cut-a-part-sheets?aff=57 - there's all sorts of colours to choose from and they ship internationally. There's also 2 different dies that cuts them out beautifully, it helps give them a slightly rounded edge - www.uniquelycreative.com.au/collections/cutting-dies?aff=57 (Essentials #4 and #5 dies). I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to help. XOX Lucy
Hi Heather, I do like my Sizzix Switch Plus, I find it a lot easier to use and much more movable than my old large manual die cutting machine. I've broken a few manual ones in my card making years so I hope this one gives longevity (apparently the plates can't get stuck in there because it won't allow them to even go in if they're too big, whereas the manual ones you can crank it half way through and then it can get stuck). Let me know if you have any other questions about it, I'm happy to answer. If you're in the US and you're interested in buying one from Sizzix, please use my affiliate link (if you want to 😊) - shrsl.com/43c81 - I hope this info helps you. XOX Lucy
@@lucypatrick Thanks Lucy, I'm in the land of Oz. I did have a Gemini when they first came out but the plates wore out too fast and were expensive to replace. I've seen that the magic mat works in them just fine so that would be what I would use if I purchase.
@@heatherupton820 I try to use one plate for cutting and keep the top one clean but occasionally I’ve accidentally used the top one 🙄 😆! I’ve found that to be really helpful though. I’d love to know how you go with the magic mat, I was looking at them a while back but never bought one. Still thinking about it 😁. Xox
@@lucypatrick Good to see another crafty night owl! I've had mine for ages, and I love it. I put mine in hot soapy water and use an old washing up brush to get the tiny bits of paper out of the marks, let it dry and its like new - actually is magic. I have yet to do the heat gun trick to flatten it but it doesn't really impede how it works, even when it is a little out of shape. When the US conversion is better, I am going to buy 2 more and not use the other type of plates any more. I did try the littlest self healing mat but they don't have quite the flexibiity of the magic mat. Hope that helps Lucy.
More color and more masculine. I have always wondered why cardmakers think that males of any age want browns, blacks and just overall subdued or lacking color.
Hi Lucy. These cards are great !!!!! Yes pleas more. Videos of any design . Love your videos.love and hugs hugs Jane xxxx
Thank you so much Lucy. You have helped me working on a birthday card for Hubby ❤🎉
