I’ve only played the Standard models which are less than half the cost of the Professional. For me the focus switch works well with the P90 model but is too deep and muddy on the humbucker model. The standard has the stainless steel frets which are great at this price point so no big differences between the models except the cost .
Be warned that the Indonesian made are not the same quality as the MIJ. I received my brand new Revstar RSS02T packaged from Yamaha and it had two high frets, tool marks on the fretboard, cracks in the binding, a poorly fitted, poorly cut nut, fisheyed paint spots and back bowed neck. Yamaha customer service was non-existent. Luckily the dealer paid for a local luthier to fix it up short of the tool marks and water in the paint so be warned!
Being left handed, I only had one choice as a manufactured model but I love my only choice.

Yamaha is 👍
we agree big time!
Isn't the P90s model the Standard model? Unless the Professional series also has that same sunburst colourway synonymous with the Standard model
Yes, to clarify since no one else has, the Professional with P-90’s is also available in the same sunburst color.
What is the resistance of these alnico pickups of Revstar, please, friend?
Jordan rules!
Does any body have the specification of professional hard shell case? I mean full size
I have the HH in Swift Blue- can’t put it down.
great guitar right there!
Do you know the resistance of these pickups?
that distorsion has its guitar level too low.

for sure, that's understandable and we're glad you got the guitar fixed up. there's certainly a reason that folks want to pony up for the MIJ guitars!
Lots of grit left in the fretboard natural porosity. Maybe this is wood filler? Anyways, it reflects light annoyingly. Back to the drawing board?
Yeah i noticed that.
Yeah...ah no!
Learn how to play before you make any more demos just simply horrible demo makes you not want one.
thanks for the constructive criticism...not!
