This cover, listening to Primal Scream’s Screamadelica album after The Slow Rush being compared to it, and the Gorillaz collab, Tame Impala had come full circle to channeling these UK rave influences for the new Dua Lipa album.
It strangely reminds me of "Bela Lugosi is dead" by Bauhaus. Given, that the instrumental version of the song was a maintheme for "Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines" game, I get this as a cultural reference of a sort
