We visited Puerto Rico on NCL Getaway this December past. It was a real breath compared to most other Caribbean ports. Well done breaking the video up into chapters. It is helpful when I wanted to repeat segments.
Thank you Sir! We both really love Old San Juan. We have flown there a few times for just an extended weekend. The people are so friendly and I love the vibe. This was a new experience embarking a cruise from there. It is normally just a favorite port stop on an Eastern Caribbean itinerary. Thanks for the channel support as always!
We are sailing out of San Juan for a Christmas cruise on the Resilient Lady, and I was wondering about what to do in between the time we checked out of our Airbnb and when we get on the ship. This video was just what I was looking for! Thank you!
I am so glad that it was helpful! After you drop off your bags, you can walk the downtown of Old San Juan waterfront, grab any last minute items at Walgreens or stroll down to the fountain. There are many bars and cafe's along the way. We killed most of our time in the 2nd floor lobby of the Hotel Rumbao which is directly across the street from the port. It is air conditioned and nobody said a word. They have a wine bar downstairs and a restaurant that has an outside terrace overlooking the port. Depending on. how long you are there before your cruise, you may or may not have seen some of this. There is also plenty of time to visit one of the US Park services fortresses such as el Morro.
