It broke my heart when I.M said that when he thinks of No.Mercy that there are some memories he wanted to delete. It didn't surprise me though. Even just through the cameras on the show, you could tell that I.M was struggling.
Every time changkyun's scenes in No Mercy appears, my heart got broke into a pieces. It's really hurt to watch. So proud that changkyun could get thru all of this, he deserves to get all of any human's heart in this world. Same here... newer t o Monsta X ( like mid 2020 new)so when I went back to where it began I did not realize he came in later and couldn’t believe those guys are the same super affection brothers I fell in love with.. that show made me cry so much even tho I know how it ended! And watching this now I know why all of Monsta x (but him especially) love each other and MonBebes so much! I’m to new to call myself one but I truly love the relationship Monsta x has with them and vice versa!!

I can totally understand both sides, imagine being in a survival show wherein the end is so near and a lot had been eliminated already then a trainee came out of nowhere then he has a chance to be on the final team. It was unfair to them and the pain from all these eliminations got the best of them so to frustration was all out to Changkyun. He's literally the absorber in there cause they see him as a free loader. It was quite unfair to Changkyun too cause he wasn't rude to them but they keep on neglecting and hating him face to face, if I were him, I can't endure that stress and would literally leave the show. Changkyun endured it all, he did not even cried cause he thinks that he doesn't have the rights to show his emotions to them in No Mercy era. But slowly they open their hearts for Changkyun cause they can all see him striving hard to reach his goals in life. They see his beautiful mind and heart that just wants to be accepted by them. Look at their relationship now, they are basically a family.

I feel like every Monbebe feels extra protective of IM especially because of No Mercy but he's so precious, he was born to do this and I'm so happy he is in Monsta X. IM is one in a million.
I'm literally so proud of how strong I.M was. When he suddenly appeared on NO MERCY, everyone, even the fans hated I.M. But what made the better person and a stronger man was that he didn't retaliate at all, he didn't argue with them, he didn't hate them back because they hated him, he didn't do anything but accept their emotions towards him. He felt really lonely, even though I.M is a loner and he likes being alone, he said that he gets lonely as well. I couldn't believe it when I heard that Monsta X hated I.M, I literally started hearing about Monsta X like 2 - 3 years ago and not to long ago, like a year and a half ago, I stumbled upon this video here and this was the first time I heard about NO MERCY. When I watched the survival program I was unbelievably shocked about how much the other members showed their hatred and hostility towards I.M, I just couldn't believe it. The Monsta X that I saw on talk shows and Weekly Idol, I saw how close they were with eachother and how caring they were towards their Maknae I.M, I was literally speechless. I.M didn't deserve the treatment he was given to by the other members and the fans but during that point in time and in that kind of situation, I can understand why. I am so, so proud of how much I.M has grown and how hard he's worked to get to know the others when they literally wanted nothing to do with him. I.M has endured soo much and even though he was very depressed and lonely, he pulled through, he's a very strong minded and level headed person. I can understand why the others said that I.M really doesn't act like his age. He was more mature than any other member was on that Survival Program and he's very understanding of others. I.M has done a great job making it this far in life, your an amazing human being I.M👏👏👏👏. The thing I'm most happy about is that after the others got to know I.M personally, they got together and apologized to I.M for what they put the poor dear through. I can tell that they regret treating I.M like that and that they can't go back and fix their mistakes, but I think their way of making amends is making sure to love, protect and care for I.M endlessly. The Monsta X now is nothing like the Monsta X in the past before the end of the Survival Program. It was a long road but they all got to where they are together. #MONSTA_X_FORVER
It makes me sad too, but things like that have happened before. Chanwoo in iKON had a similar experience, but the one that is closest to what Changkyun went through would be Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun was added to Super Junior about a year after they debuted. The 12 members then weren't happy about it and apparently most of all but one actually voted to want him out of the group. The fans hated Kyuhyun then too, to the extent that they treated him like garbage starting a campaign they called "only 12." Things eventually cooled between the members, but the fans mostly didn't "forgive" him until after Leeteuk, Kyuhyun, Shindong, Eunhyuk and their manager were in a bad accident where Kyuhyun almost didn't make it. I think the accident bonded the members closer too. Even though SJ have been through a lot, it's clear that they love their maknae, despite his tendency to be evil and tease them all the time. And it's the same way with Chanwoo in iKON and I.M in Monsta X. And ironically enough, besides those 3 being their groups maknaes they also are all aquarius signs, Chanwoo and Changkyun have literally the same birthday, except Changkyun is 2 years older.
I've never watched No Mercy bc I knew it would break my heart... I didn't know IM suffered so much. And to think that Wonho was one of the first to support him and now he's gone... it's so sad.

And then until i came to their lives. They were the only boy group that I felt they really were. they are very kind people. very genuine. I will never replace them in any famous kpop boy group. i will always keep them in my heart.

Even after the show, Changkyun was most silent and awkward member of the group. I am happy that he was able to get through that phase and everyone is like a family.

@@Arlette_Yenyen Yeah, Wonho has been preparing his solo work. We all know he made songs like From Zero, which is one of my most favorites, so I can't wait for his new work. He's still Monsta X and always will be. He wrote and produced music, he danced his heart out and got injured several times, he entertained everyone for these years, he opened himself up to us, etc. His contribution and presence with Monsta X and Monbebe will always be there. I hate it that he doesn't feel safe online because of what those people did to him, and all just because Monsta X was gaining a lot of fame and those people didn't like that. Sigh.
Monsta X had a painful beginning, but I'm so happy for they had maturity in recognize past and mistakes. I'm glad for nobody have gave up. I've been a K-Pop fan for more than a decade and it's ony been 4 months since I became a monbebe. If there's something that I can say about Monsta X, it's that they're the most genuine group that I've ever known. They always work so hard and love each other so much. They've been through a lot and I hope that one day, we can see them as 7 again.

When I first watched clips of him in the show it was so sad and I read a comment that said that he was actually supposed to debut in another group which was cancelled so paired with also being not welcomed by anyone must have been really hard for him. I understand the side of the other contestants though and really dont blame them, their close friend was eliminated then siddenly came another guy out of no where essentially replacing their friend and also basically adding another competitor. However, as we all know, everything happens for a reason and if all those things didn't happen back then, then we wouldn't have had the Monsta X that we all know and love today.

When a person discovers their strength because of what you put them through...that stays with you. I don't know how Changkyun survived this...being ignored and gossiped about is one thing but to have someone tell you to your face that they want nothing to do with you must be heartbreaking. Especially if you HAVE to work together...you're just a means to an end to them. The guilt they must carry around must be exhausting and the thing about it is that guilt doesn't just go away. When they think about how strong I.M is..they'll be forced to remember that specific moment that called him to use every ounce of strength he had. Every time they think about how far they've come as a group...they have to think about that moment. I love how far they've come. It shows you growth in spite of circumstances. I've just started becoming a fan this year and i've been coming across these No Mercy clips which i've been warned not to watch. I now know why.

This reminds me so much of Ikon's maknae chanwoo. He also became part of the survival show when there is already team b (ikon is basically team b+chanwoo) so they weren't also very much welcoming towards him. But now both changkyun and chanwoo are the maknaes loved by their hyungs. I wish for success for both monsta x and ikon
I remember the show and I remember all the comments they made about Changkyun. It was hard, harsh, heartbreaking and they all didn´t want him because they just lost a team mate. Changkyun was sad, hurt and vulnerable. But he was strong and now they all love him. Monsta X without him... no way. He has a sharpe tongue and even he´s the maknae... he´s a a tough guy. Like he would say: I.M what I am. Baby, let the monster out. ♥

It's amazing how just little parts of their story make me cry so bad. I think about those hard moments for ChangKyun and I'm so grateful for the people that were there with LD letters saying "I.M" I'm so thankful for the people who supported ChangKyun during No.Mercy, I'm so thankful. And I actually think ChangKyun grew up well because of the hard moments he had to handle so that's why we cannot see a real maknae sometimes. But that's the lovely thing about him. He's so talented, he's so kind, he's just Im ChangKyun. Thank you, I'm going to cry while I hide in the bathroom. 🤧
i am following them since 2015 their show no mercy and even saw their each and every ups and down and during that time i was feeling so bad for I.M and now see they love I.M like anything and always make sure that he is happy and also take care of him alot...i am so glad that i am following them since their starting of their career and also their ups and down moment and now see i am so proud of them ..love you guys alot

Honestly I get how the boys felt on No Mercy. I remember following along and being mad then also. But I think now I understood where they were coming from (both the boys and the company). Though now I think I'm glad MX has IM. I don't think the group would've been the same if Gun had debuted with them. I honestly don't.

I'm literally so proud of how strong I.M was. When he suddenly appeared on NO MERCY, everyone, even the fans hated I.M. But what made the better person and a stronger man was that he didn't retaliate at all, he didn't argue with them, he didn't hate them back because they hated him, he didn't do anything but accept their emotions towards him.
He felt really lonely, even though I.M is a loner and he likes being alone, he said that he gets lonely as well. I couldn't believe it when I heard that Monsta X hated I.M, I literally started hearing about Monsta X like 2 - 3 years ago and not to long ago, like a year and a half ago, I stumbled upon this video here and this was the first time I heard about NO MERCY.
When I watched the survival program I was unbelievably shocked about how much the other members showed their hatred and hostility towards I.M, I just couldn't believe it. The Monsta X that I saw on talk shows and Weekly Idol, I saw how close they were with eachother and how caring they were towards their Maknae I.M, I was literally speechless.
I.M didn't deserve the treatment he was given to by the other members and the fans but during that point in time and in that kind of situation, I can understand why.
I am so, so proud of how much I.M has grown and how hard he's worked to get to know the others when they literally wanted nothing to do with him. I.M has endured soo much and even though he was very depressed and lonely, he pulled through, he's a very strong minded and level headed person.
I can understand why the others said that I.M really doesn't act like his age. He was more mature than any other member was on that Survival Program and he's very understanding of others. I.M has done a great job making it this far in life, your an amazing human being I.M👏👏👏👏.
The thing I'm most happy about is that after the others got to know I.M personally, they got together and apologized to I.M for what they put the poor dear through. I can tell that they regret treating I.M like that and that they can't go back and fix their mistakes, but I think their way of making amends is making sure to love, protect and care for I.M endlessly.
The Monsta X now is nothing like the Monsta X in the past before the end of the Survival Program. It was a long road but they all got to where they are together. #MONSTA_X_FORVER

It makes me sad too, but things like that have happened before. Chanwoo in iKON had a similar experience, but the one that is closest to what Changkyun went through would be Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun was added to Super Junior about a year after they debuted. The 12 members then weren't happy about it and apparently most of all but one actually voted to want him out of the group. The fans hated Kyuhyun then too, to the extent that they treated him like garbage starting a campaign they called "only 12."
Things eventually cooled between the members, but the fans mostly didn't "forgive" him until after Leeteuk, Kyuhyun, Shindong, Eunhyuk and their manager were in a bad accident where Kyuhyun almost didn't make it. I think the accident bonded the members closer too.
Even though SJ have been through a lot, it's clear that they love their maknae, despite his tendency to be evil and tease them all the time.
And it's the same way with Chanwoo in iKON and I.M in Monsta X. And ironically enough, besides those 3 being their groups maknaes they also are all aquarius signs, Chanwoo and Changkyun have literally the same birthday, except Changkyun is 2 years older.

@@Arlette_Yenyen Yeah, Wonho has been preparing his solo work. We all know he made songs like From Zero, which is one of my most favorites, so I can't wait for his new work. He's still Monsta X and always will be. He wrote and produced music, he danced his heart out and got injured several times, he entertained everyone for these years, he opened himself up to us, etc. His contribution and presence with Monsta X and Monbebe will always be there. I hate it that he doesn't feel safe online because of what those people did to him, and all just because Monsta X was gaining a lot of fame and those people didn't like that. Sigh.
Monsta X had a painful beginning, but I'm so happy for they had maturity in recognize past and mistakes. I'm glad for nobody have gave up.
Nobody is perfect, and we know they made a big mistake when they were rude with I.M. But now this is past, and they are big friends. Some friendships begin in painful, but last a lifetime.

I've been a K-Pop fan for more than a decade and it's ony been 4 months since I became a monbebe. If there's something that I can say about Monsta X, it's that they're the most genuine group that I've ever known. They always work so hard and love each other so much. When I first watched clips of him in the show it was so sad and I read a comment that said that he was actually supposed to debut in another group which was cancelled so paired with also being not welcomed by anyone must have been really hard for him. I understand the side of the other contestants though and really dont blame them, their close friend was eliminated then siddenly came another guy out of no where essentially replacing their friend and also basically adding another competitor. However, as we all know, everything happens for a reason and if all those things didn't happen back then, then we wouldn't have had the Monsta X that we all know and love today.

i am just full on ugly crying with feeling sad, happy, lonely and all these other emotions like man, I.M may have suffered in the beginning but now he's getting what he deserves and so much more because he and Montsa X deserve the world
When a person discovers their strength because of what you put them through...that stays with you. I don't know how Changkyun survived this...being ignored and gossiped about is one thing but to have someone tell you to your face that they want nothing to do with you must be heartbreaking. Especially if you HAVE to work together...you're just a means to an end to them. The guilt they must carry around must be exhausting and the thing about it is that guilt doesn't just go away. When they think about how strong I.M is..they'll be forced to remember that specific moment that called him to use every ounce of strength he had. Every time they think about how far they've come as a group...they have to think about that moment. I love how far they've come. It shows you growth in spite of circumstances. I've just started becoming a fan this year and i've been coming across these No Mercy clips which i've been warned not to watch. I now know why.
I'm crying so hard, literally like a baby. I really miss them so much, were my support for a long time. I will be ever supporting to my babies, even if I cry every time.

He also became part of the survival show when there is already team b (ikon is basically team b+chanwoo) so they weren't also very much welcoming towards him. I think about those hard moments for ChangKyun and I'm so grateful for the people that were there with LD letters saying "I.M" I'm so thankful for the people who supported ChangKyun during No.Mercy, I'm so thankful. And I actually think ChangKyun grew up well because of the hard moments he had to handle so that's why we cannot see a real maknae sometimes. But that's the lovely thing about him. He's so talented, he's so kind, he's just Im ChangKyun. Thank you, I'm going to cry while I hide in the bathroom. 🤧
i am following them since 2015 their show no mercy and even saw their each and every ups and down and during that time i was feeling so bad for I.M and now see they love I.M like anything and always make sure that he is happy and also take care of him alot...i am so glad that i am following them since their starting of their career and also their ups and down moment and now see i am so proud of them ..love you guys alot

Honestly I get how the boys felt on No Mercy. I remember following along and being mad then also. But I think now I understood where they were coming from (both the boys and the company). Though now I think I'm glad MX has IM. I don't think the group would've been the same if Gun had debuted with them. I honestly don't.

Imagine how IM felt during No Mercy. All of them hated him but it wasn't his fault. Hearing those words from his hyungs really hurt him big time. But I am glad they all love him so much now. He really deserved it.
