Btw, about it being waterproof or not: from my experience it totally is. I've been out with it for days under light and heavy rain and all my undershirts and stuff in the pockets haven't soaked a single drop of water. So idk if the hose test was done well as an indicator or what. I'm personally very pleased with this product. Don't need a to walk with a bad and have a ton of stuff always available to use. My only problem is that you can't use earphones other than the Airpods in that special slot which I kinda wanted a lot because it is super convenient but that is more of a problem with earphones having short cables. Hope this helps anyone considering buying it in addition to this great review :]
Uniquely Qualified definitely agree. It definitely sounded way too good to be true. I just watched the commercial, so I had to look up the review to see to see what’s true and what’s not.
Ive owned a couple of these jackets and one thing i will say is they should not have made the jacket slim and fitted. The jacket runs small as it is but when you have the pockets filled it is no longer comfortable and feels even smaller. I had to buy a couple sizes up just so i can zip the jacket.
“They advertise this one as a drink pocket... it’s pretty much good for anything but drinks” 🤣😂 ... great review, thanks for helping me cure my FOMO of not backing this project, definitely seems like a jacket I can live without.
Thank you so so much for the detailed review, will be buying it soon and I’ll be carrying all of the items but I had one question, do they come with those noise canceling ear buds?
How warm is it? Would you wear it during a warmish day at around 80°F if you wanted all the storage? Would you compare the warmth to a hoodie or a long sleeve t-shirt? Are there any scratchy or otherwise uncomfortable bits inside the jacket? Thanks :) Nice review!!
It's a medium warm jacket, I'd say closer to a thick hoodie or a jacket. Way warmer than a long-sleeve t-shirt, it would be really hot wearing it at 80°F. The velcro straps in the gloves are kind of scratchy, I took them out because of that.
I knew that they over exaggerated when they did the commercial. Which is why I came straight here after the video. But I still really like all of the options they give you on these. Most of these are pretty useful. So I do pretty much like the jacket. I love carrying a lot of things with me, so this does fascinate me. Even though not everything they did was true, but oh well. It’s over all an decent enough product. But the price though? I don’t truly believe that coat is worth that. I get it takes a lot of money likely to make these but they still aren’t really worth $150 dollars.
Good call. I haven't seen their latest commercial, but I agree with you. The pockets are nice, especially on an airplane, but some of the accessories are kind of gimmicky and don't work great (like the foot rest and neck pillow), it's not really worth $150.
It really depends on what you put in the pockets. If it's just a tablet, small electronics, etc. then it's fine. If you have enough to fill a backpack you probably want to just bring a backpack.
@@OneBagTravels OK, thanks. I'm going to use the jacket to pack my tablet, phone, power bank, charger cable, grooming gadgets to compensate for limited carry on allowance on some airlines (7 kg.). I can actually do without the water bottle, gloves, foot rest and blanket. I usually keep my passport in an inner pocket. Excellent review!!
just hat i was thinking.... i used to think the wool couldnt be pulled over my eyes... slowly realising, theres a large unsheared sheep over my eyes (I mean to say the promo video on kickstarter had me salivating for one of those jackets (im not one to buy clothes often, but wanted this), thanks to OneBagTravels I have a wider perspective, its starting to feel like ruclips.net/video/zJs9p-VNORw/видео.html I very much appreciate OneBagTravels who was more like ruclips.net/video/bhYIng0tHxA/видео.html ie honest . OneBagTravels, seems as though you go through quite a few products. Any tips or advice on a jacket or backpack (for men or women) that actually matched or was better than described in the promotional material ? If not a garment, any other product ? Your insight would be greatly appreciated.
It looks like it fits ok with nothing in the pockets, but I think it would be tight and lumpy looking if you put all the stuff in it and showed it to us like that.
The arms are DEFINITELY too short for any given jacket size. On top of that, the scratch velcro patches sewed into the sleeve are very uncomfortable on the skin. I really regret buying this jacket and wish I could return it. It does a poor job of trying to do too many things.
I would love to do a review of their jackets! I don't own one but maybe I if I reach out to them they will send me a sample to review. The windbreaker looks interesting, great that it's waterproof.
@@OneBagTravels please do so! I was really interested in the baubax, then i saw the adv3nture brand. Looking at some of the baubax reviews, looks like adv3nture kind of addressed some issues. Looking forward to it if you get a chance. Thanks!
I got an Adv3nture jacket! Thanks for your suggestion, I reached out to the company and they sent me 2 of their jackets to test, the Fleece, and the Windbreaker. I've been wearing them around for a few days and I LOVE them! Much higher quality than the Baubax, the fleece is super comfy. It will take me a few weeks to test them out and make a video, let me know if there is anything in particular you want me to look at or demonstrate and I'll be sure to include it. Thanks! 😃
Why this avalanche of vague language? ‘Kinda”, “Sort of”, “Like...”, “Or whatever”, and many more like that. Annoying and very unhelpful for someone who’s hoping to glean facts from a review. E.g.: Either something is attached using Velcro or it isn’t. What is “sort of attached”?
Do you like that one more? I was thinking about getting one to compare. I also have the Adv3nture fleece and windbreaker, if I get all 3 I can do an ultimate comparison!
OneBagTravels Actually I would love to that as I’m not very familiar with Baubax, it would be much appreciated to see the pros and cons of each. Thank you for noticing
By far the worst jacket I ever bought. Does not breath, very weird cut, cheap materials, I have cut out most of the features to be able to use the jacket maybe 3 times. Would never travel wearing this heavy jacket.
OMG FUNNY STORY, I JSUT GOT THE ADD FOR THIS PRODUCT BEFORE I WATCHED IT-
i fully watched the ad too btw
Woah...
Me too
Yea there Add is pretty good and funny in a right kind of way and this is what makes them more popular XD and let us see there add until the end.

Good observations, thanks for the feedback! I live in Southern California and we don't get a ton of rain here to test the water proofness 😆
They are crazy with their advertisement
Yeah, a little 😆

$150. The $100 is for all the "features" you dont really need.
For $50 you can get a completely decent bomber jacket from Uniqlo.
True, you can definitely get a decent jacket for less

For sure, you need to size up if you're going to be filling the pockets with gear.
i got a baubax ad before watching this
That's funny

... great review, thanks for helping me cure my FOMO of not backing this project, definitely seems like a jacket I can live without.
Thanks! Yeah, it's not really a drink pocket. Glad you liked my review 👍😀
Yeah. Also it is kind of a bad idea to stick your drink into your chest pocket and walk around. It might spill.
Thank you so so much for the detailed review, will be buying it soon and I’ll be carrying all of the items but I had one question, do they come with those noise canceling ear buds?
Nope, they have an airpod attachment strap, but don't come with the ear buds.
it dont have a plastic bag for pee ......
You should definitely get one of those 😆

Yasir Abbas the water bottle duh then you don’t have to fill it up every time you’re thirsty
. . . you're OK with holding in your poop, tho 😆
Well from the ad it said it had a water bottle...

Thanks Kickz!
Nice video, very natural presentation :D
And may I ask if the “ipad pocket” fit a bit bigger ipad (pro 11’) or just regular one (9.7' or 10.2'?)
I don't have one to test but it should fit. I just measured the pocket, it's 10" x 9", and the dimensions of the iPad pro 11 are 9.74" x 7.02"
OneBagTravels thanks for the reply 😘😘
@@vnrays3775 l?
Is it suitable for very cold and humid weather ???
No, it's not really a winter jacket, more of a spring or fall jacket.
I'd use the blanket with the blackout hood to blindfold myself, fold or twist, wrap, tie, done.
👍
Well thanks for actually telling us what the secret pocket is

It's nice having all those pockets 😊
Do you have to take everything out for airport security?
You usually have to take jackets off anyway, I just put the whole thing in the bin with stuff in the pockets.
OneBagTravels oh ok
I really enjoyed the in depth review because I am looking into getting one. I just wish I knew if the pocket could git like a 13in tablet
The inside pockets of the fleece are 8" x 10". I don't have a 13" tablet to test, but I don't think it would fit.
