Great video Adam. I feel Isuzu Australia need to buy in bulk from Super Pro to do all this under warranty as it is their design flaw. Lots of money to improve on something that should not have been anyone's problem in the first place. Signs of wear on my tyres at only 17500 km's with no big off road trips and no Cape York trip under my belt either. Feel like I am going to be fighting a up hill battle if I go back to Isuzu as they will blame something else beyond their control.
Hey Adam, thanks for another great video. The link in the description for the torque settings, seems to only list the wheel nuts settings. Does your link contain the rest of the settings? Cheers
Hey Adam, i was wondering on your opinion on whether this is worth upgrading on my dmax, despite not having any major issue, i rotate my tyres every 7,500km so I don’t seem to notice any issue, but not sure if its a hidden issue, that I’m not going to see due to the regular rotation.
@@sandycraker2486 remember to put em in the right way, like pinned post mentions vids shows my putting them in backwards :( Top tip take a pic once you get the factory knuckles out so you know they're correct on the new knuckles 👍
Just fitted these yesterday and day before. And i tell you what, even with out an allignment atm, as im still waiting on my uca's that were supposed to be here yesterday. It drives so much better! Also i donno why but my driver side one was a c**t it took me half a day to do it just wouldnt release the lower ball joint no matter what i did ended up using jack hammer and pry bar 😂. But its done now hopefully ucas come soon then can fit and go get an allignment.
Nice work! There's a heap of vids on youtube to DIY align front end, fairly quick job with some straight rods and tape measure :) Got mine within a few mm before driving back to Fulcrum :)
@@VideoShowMeHow its all good the peeps here helped me out alot. As soon as i put the new uca's in they gave me a spot for one that arvo 👌 Drives so much better with the new knuckle and uca's.... booked in to isuzu thursday for a service and a warrenty claim on tyres
@@Warnuthow did you go with the warranty claim? Isuzu Brisbane told me there is nothing wrong with the factory steering knuckle in my 21 Dmax and it is working as designed!
Great video once again Adam...what gets my goat is the fact that this seems like it's a factory design fault and yet we're expected to pay a substantial amount to rectify Isuzu's mistake!!!! This should be a recall in my mind. Do you know if there is a class action or investigation of any sort looking into this at all? Why should we have to repair a fault that obviously is a design error? My 2023 Dmax has only done 10k and the left hand front tyre is scalloped out on the inside already. Pay 60 to 90 grand for a car that you have to redesign, through no fault of yours, a fault from the factory!!!
Yeah was fine? How'd you go with the wheel speed sensors? One of mine was tight, think the powder coating might have been thicker.. got it in eventually
@@VideoShowMeHowone side was very tight the other went in really easy. I’m currently troubleshooting a few warning lights after install. Got no codes when I plug my scanner in so bit of a hard one.
@@VideoShowMeHowabs, traction, auto level lights and front camera not working. Had the battery off for 24 hours to see if they reset, didn’t work. Iv got my first service coming up so will get Isuzu to check it out.
Not really, they've changed the toe spec to be POSITIVE 5.. there's a reason why OEM cars don't have that much positive toe eg wear.. All that much positive toe is going to do is somewhat cancel out some of the droop neg toe which will just wear tyres out faster overall but won't look as bad as crazy scrubbed out inners
***NOTE: MAKE SURE SEAL GOES BACK IN THE SAME WAY ON THE NEW KNUCKLES, IN THE VIDEO I INSTALL THEM BACKWARDS 🙁***
You triggered my dyslexia with that one Adam, excellent video otherwise 👍

can you help with the Munji steering rake drop bolton kit?
Bump steer class action now underway. Register at Chamberlains Law Sydney to be involved.
I missed the 20% off discount code! Surely Isuzu will do a recall to modify their design?
Nice , looks easy enough, what’s the spacer for the sway bar link for?
Just to get the factory angles I believe
Another Good Video, Thanks Adam!!
Excellent as always.
Great video. Why did you neglect to fit the factory backing plate ( disc protection) ?
Sick of rocks getting stuck. Ran without in previous 4x4 as well never had an issue

Have updated, had the wrong one linked, same settings for most things for the 2011+ (can navigate on that same site for dmax 1,2,3)

Hey Adam, great video, what is the name of that axle seal as I want to have a spare pair on hand just in case I damage the original ones?
@@sandycraker2486 they're called a 'Seal Oil, Knuckle' in the system part number was MZ1K01-33-067 got from spare parts.

Hey Adam what size socket will I need for the lower ball joint? gonna give it a go tomorrow
I think it was a round a 23 from memory so keep those larger sockets nearby

Can you buy a new hub seal?
If so I would replace it.
You can, but if low KMs and good condition no need. Is a sealed hub anyway so not 'as' critical as some older 4wd
I did with mine, think it was around $50 for 2 from isuzu
Apparently engineers have updated there wheel alignment numbers and have pretty much eliminated the issue.

Yeah have pinned a post about this, RUclips doesn't let me do anything else other than deleting the whole video unfortunately :(
Everything you do is amazing however about 2.5 k for these what a rip off
They come in around 1700 which is pricey sure, reckon it depends on tyre $$ and how long you're looking at keeping the rig imho
Hello can you tell me if the 2024 dmax is affected by this problem of premature tyre wear thanks.
@davidsciberras8942 yes same story unfortunately :(
