i visited this pop up one Thursday evening, loved the clothes and the shopping cart sculpture was da bomb! Very interesting; saw a pair of men's shoes to die for.
Unfortunately this store is no longer here, and was the last of the Guerrilla stores from what I heard (Zurick?). There was a brief menswear store named Mou'ments until I heard the landlord didn't renew the lease (or maybe something else?). Tak is the Japanese man in the movie, and is the nicest most benevolent people I have ever met. He makes everything himself and is so modest about how creative he is. Whatever about CdG, this store and tak are an awesome part of LA's cultural history.
@cliklab Singapore's economy is doing superbly well and employment is available to people willing to work. Many poor countries in the world would like to replicate Singapore's success: Financially, politically and educationally speaking. Like so many other countries in the world, it is not perfect and is still evolving.
I agree these guys are cool. You need to go to the store before you speak about this concept. Its a welcome sing to downtown LA. I liked their merchandise so much that I bought a Rugby shirt.
+Maxwell Granger No it's not. I still have "guerilla 2" and "play red"(one of the most boring scents I've ever smelled). Recently was shopping for "wonderoud", but ended up buying Ecstasy from Terenzi house.
+Andrew Zeee have you not seen the insence series 3 collection? avignon is one of the most complex and refined fragrances i've ever been acquainted with. The whole collection is incredible and so well researched, you should really smell all of them before throwing around a rash statement like the above
+Maxwell Granger I did smell avignon at barney's ny (not bad) but if this is their best shot, they're still suck. sorry, but this is my opinion. I have over 60 fragrances in my collection designer and niche and CdG colognes so far are my bigge$t blind buy mistake$.
