NOT THE GRV WE EXPECTED, BUT THE GRV WE WANTED
Every year I anticipate GRV placing on Body Rock. This time, what stood out the most was not them placing first, but how they approached it with a concept we haven't seen from them. So much love for this team, I hope we see more like these from them. This piece was so good!
I was considering all the teams are the best and lahat ay iniidolo ko dahil siyempre lahat filipino magagaling pero if i will choose the deserving to be a winner, sila parin. No biased at hindi luto ang place nila. It's not about the theme, kundi sa choreo, synchronization at originality. Pinanood ko muna ang Upeepz bago ang sila, nagtaka ko kung bakit 2nd sila at nung pinanood ko na yung winner, i don't feel it was a biased.

Hindi ko alam bakit may 59 na dislike tong vid na to. This is a work of art, hindi ko man kilala yung mga dancer nor yung group pero I can feel their hardwork, their blood, sweat and tears just to perform this wonderful piece to us viewers. I think they deserve better :)
a good amount are people who are STILL mad that upeepz lost, and are taking it out on the team that beat them
All the negativity some people have towards this team is unreal, I swear. Some can't even at the very least explain why they didn't like gives set. Ik I'm writing an entire fuckin essay but I'm that guy who doesn't want to see the dance community, which is filled with welcoming, nice, humble people get ruined by, literally, arrogant fanboys.
People are raving about Jason Lin, and rightfully so. But the center guy at 4:43 kills it everytime as well!!!

Watching this after seeing upeepz I gotta say hands down GRV deserved the top spot. Upeepz was fun and clean but this routine was elegance and power and ease from start to finish. GRV really out here showing they can do wayyy more than just hard hits and I'm here for it ughhh... Didn't realize I missed this side of GRV so much but so glad they brought it back!!!

Ill agree how they got first place. The techincality of the routine, GRV nailed it! :) Im a filipino and watching bodyrock everysince it started and this is something that i didnt tought that it could really give nn impact. Mad props to jason who did the choreo for the guitar part! You're so insane! Also congrats to upeepz! They're all deserve the place. First ever filipino to place in bodyrock
GRV has always been one of my favorite teams to watch and honestly, I felt like when Bam, Sorah, and all the other big name people left, things were a little different with the team 😕
But after seeing this, OH MAN 😵. GRV has definitely evolved to a new level from the precise choreo to the creative formations and transitions. Very well deserved 1st place 🏆👏🏼

Who the hell choreographed this? Dope from top to bottom! The team killed it, and I was left with goosebumps by the end.
It seems like Taryn Cheng did two sections and Jason Lin was the crazy man who did that middle section during the solo.

smooth choreography with cleanliness and difficult levels of dancing, I didnt expect this shit from GRV but damn they delivered well
I saw this performance and was blown away! The intricate thought out moments. Not a lot of people can grab those subtle instruments hits and make them bigger than they sound. You can hear every note and beat through the movement, and it’s amazing! Literally haven’t caught myself saying WOW so many times during a performance.
Being a dancer for over 13 years now, I’m so glad to see the direction that dance has come. Performance and choreography was 10/10, this is what art looks like!
Shoutouts to uPeepz, the performance they gave was hard and full of energy and tight sections but it was something in the movement of GRV in my opinion that gave them the upper hand!

As a dancer since 3 (jazz, ballet, tap, modern, lyrical, hip hop) and choreographer since age of 15, studied history of dance in college and watch every kind of style in my 45 years of age Shared on my fb and wrote "Style of Martha Graham, innovation of Twyla Tharp, Bob Fosse intricacies, smooth like Gene Kelly, stage use of Michael Kidd, little George Balanchine all on a 6 count, this is so so good!"

This ain't entertaining compared to others, but this routine really deserves to be in the 1st place. I love the song(s) they danced to, the showmanship and level of diffuculty in their choreo was 100% amazingly good.
