I’ve always felt that making people fear God is like how I feel about cops. Fear is a good motivator but I can’t respect someone who uses fear to make us fall in line. Every time I think of being a Christian, I feel I’m doing it because I’m afraid of the consequences, not because I love God. How can you love someone that cursed you…

Love and fear aren't opposites, Biblically speaking. Fear is a motivating emotion, and love is a lifestyle of action. If you live for God, you are loving God with philo and agape love, even if you feel no instinctual storge love for Him. Love is defined by selflessness and loyalty, not by affection.
I fear Him and Revere Him. I Also am struggling with Lust, I'm Praying For Help, to walk Spiritually. To eventually find a Soulmate. I got to get right, Look for Love in the right place, Church, But I can't con God, Praying for God's Guidance, to stop lusting after women. 🙏😇🤓😎
