Why even play the game if you are gonna have a macro or script that plays for you. The solution is easy just bind your spells/abilities and learn to use them
It doesn't. It stops on circumstance where you then hit the button you need manually. TRUTH is two button spammers are not only Not Contributing to taking down other wb because fluff damage, they are cheating champion in city by spamming high dps. So Actually the two button spammers are using the exploit on their top two damage hits. Whoch steals Champion away from those casting debuffs.
people quit over this? i been playing 3 years on RoR and never used a sequencer mod. such weak minded individuals who can't play a game without a crutch.
@@karakondzula1388 compromising with basically script addons that take away pretty much all skill there is, is unacceptable. The only real thing they should have done was to remove NB, get rid of the players that used it and then just make people play the actual game by pressing buttons you know. People who leave the game because suddenly they have to play it, are the type of people you dont want in your pvp focused mmo game.

Instead of 1 bar you have to use 4+ bars pointing and clicking with mouse sometimes, and that is just boring. NB was an advantage that is for sure but it was available for everyone to use, and no matter how much people shit on it and try to present themselves as righteous, fact is that vast majority of players did not want to play this game without it, proving that NB contributed to the overall feeling of the game. I know i wanted to quit the game by the level 13 on my first character but when i discovered NB game felt so much better that i played for 2 years strait. They realized this fact and made their own sequencer, too late if you ask me. one more thing is and assumption that that using NB makes you an idiot who cant play the way the game is made but that also is bullshit, we still played against other people who used NB and you had to adapt to defend against much higher bursts and fast combinations, that took much more skill with movement, positioning ect..
People leaving the game because an addon that made clicking powers easier is out, makes you suspect they were actually abusing some sort of mechanic to get an edge over other players, and they are the ones to blame for NB being axed.
Another decision by the dev team that was not well thought out or executed well. Seems to be a recurring theme with this team. Instead of having something ready and working properly before making a change, they just pull something and have a janky piece of junk to replace it. All they did was piss everyone off.
I still don't understand who people have been crying over NB. this game as an abismally slow GCD. manually casting spells is extremely easy, and the most "complex" class has like 10 spells max to cast... man new gamers are weak
Private Server, where the worse people ever, were made GMs and do whatever they like. One server that is almost dead with less than 200 players already and most of them are GMs playing as players. The original Age of Reckoning was a great game , and many people loved it. 9+ years later, RoR is a dead game only for a small group of people, where scenarios are only with premade parties and RvR is only Pugs. But the worse.... their GMs,
Because this fucking game needs you to have 3-4 arms otherwise. I've got only 2. one of which is on the wasd. And the other is on the mouse. And although "on paper" my mouse have 14 buttons or something only about 3-5 of them are comfortable to press. And this game likes to break every action that shouldve been a single key to bunch of keys. like a sequence of stances, cooldown abilities etc and also a separate button for backstab which should ve been a single key. Perhaps, if you are playing the same character for years you can become accustomed to that. But for me (1im playing not that often, and like to switch between characters) it's overwhelming. I would like to fight against other players instead of struggling with inadequate controls
... And if you (or not you personally but anyone who is against scripts) are so good at those controls that you don't need any scripts, why are you bitching about nerfed buttons? You would be more effective that player with script anyways because you can make a tailored decisions for every situation, while script would just go over sequence that is optimal for the most common case
I can understand what you say just want to say that you can move around with only mouse and free the other hand from wasd by pressing both mouse buttons. Just in case it helps anyone :)

And in any case I stand with my general idea - that those abilities and control scheme is overbloated. Just compare it with Planetside 2, where each class gets only a few abilities/items, but each one of them adds some meaningful gameplay. While in Warhammer there is a bunch of buttons to just do damage, because of cooldowns stances and all this nonsense Btw. About other MMO's 1) Most of them are garbage too. A great idea of having an artificial world filled with many players is murdered by concentrated pile of gameplay antipatterns, including screwed up abilities and controls. 2) Most other MMO's are PvE oriented. For PvE, especially with retarded mobs like in this game or WoW for instance, any controls are sufficient. Even if you would have to type commands in console. But this is PvP oriented game. And PvP places completely another requirements for speed and awareness. And that's why I want to be focused on the enemies and teammates instead of getting lost in finding which button to press to make my character do some basic thing.
People that don't use the sequencer have been spamming two buttons for top dps, lmao. They are literally NOT playing and just hitting the easy button themselves, but not being honest about having advanced mouse with several buttons. So they are Lying about their situation with advanced HIDs. The sequencer fails at a full run and you still have to manually choose while ingame. So the Anti-sequence club are full of crap.
lol they killed the dead game one more time =)))) brilliant! with no reason. or their premium players couldn't feel their superiority against the NB statists =)) my 7 chars 80-86rr full gear now just exist as several text symbols on server. with no use.
Imagine not being able to play with keybinds like every other MMO player out there. There's a reason these trash scripts are banned in every single credible MMO.
@@porcu12345 NB was free to use from almost the beginning of the game. it more looks like if ror became 2d after 3d aor. like u go to bank for a credit. they give it to u with 2% a year for 10 years. and on the 3-rd year they up it to 30%. fair? i dont think so. i came to play with nb. i spent 6 years on this server. i made a ton of bug reports and took a part in 2 dungeon bug tests. and... they changed %. speaking abt sequencer... suitable if it worked.

No people quit because they removed NB addon. This is not it, this is supposed to be a compromise when they realized that they fked up.

I remember on live they had a cheat to turn off global cooldown, needless to say, loads of players were permabanned for having it installed as a mod.
RoR is losing players now because of installing Sequencer in the game. A good way to kill a game by annihilating the playerbase.
They were stupid to remove NB.

I don't understand why people needed nerfed buttons anyway lol, the number of buttons isn't any more excessive than other MMO's.
Because game felt so much faster and modern with NB, without it its just ancient semi point and click boring game.
