Dimash was 22 at that time and he was invited to this show in China as a "grey horse", nobody knew him and this competition in 14 rounds was tough for a mature well known singers. Dimash thought to hold there at list for a couple of rounds. And then it became a Dimash show, the whole world was watching.....He got a second place......and a stardom!

Dimash came 2nd in that contest, he couldn't be the big winner because he wasn't Chinese, but the rules have changed since . I also put you a link from behind the scene of this contest where it is question of Dimash. He was 22 at that time but he had and still has a child's heart, that's what gives him so much charm. Dimash had to stay in China for several months without knowing the Chinese language. It was the first time he was away from his family for so long. In an interview he mentioned that he found it very difficult but that the love of music and his desire to realize his dream helped him not to give up. This artist is truly exceptional, I have never seen or heard in all my life a singer who gives himself so much in all his performances. It's like he's singing with every cell in his body and his vocal cords are directly attached to his soul. I have been following his career for several years and he still manages to amaze me. What I love about the Chinese competitors is that they don’t behave like competitors. Everyone wishes everyone luck. Everyone watches the other’s performance. Clap, sing along. In my opinion, no one begrudges the success of another. They might not have taken Dimash seriously at first, but that quickly changed after SOS. Through ist honest, cheerful and open nature, he found friends very quickly. Contacts that still exist today. Especially to Terry Lin. It’s the guy with the glasses. They had so much fun together behind the stage. Just for fun, Terry adopted Dimash and Dimash named him Papa Lin. Do not be fooled. Terry is older than he looks. He was 50 years old then. Later they performed together on stage and sang Dimash’s song Unforgettable Day together. They visit each other when they can and send each other birthday greetings. Thank you for your interest (if you’ve read it this far). You may want to see, or even react to, videos that were filmed behind the scenes of the competition. They are very interesting if you want to get to know Dimash from a different, more private side. He often looks so serious on stage and some reactors got the feeling he isn’t very funny but that’s not the case at all. He's just very focused and totally immersed in the role he has to play in the song. And nothing gets him out of it. Not often. Once in a while he lost his composure and couldn't sing anymore because of laughter.

De otra Dear más desde la primera vez que lo escuché cantar, estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo en que Dimash es sin duda alguna el mejor cantante del mundo, eso no hace falta que se lo reconozca nadie, porque creo que el carácter humilde y la sincera modestia de Dimash no precisan de galardones ni ostentaciones. El es feliz haciendo lo que hace, y nos hace felices a todos los que le amamos, y creo que con eso es más que suficiente. Estoy segura de que el estaría feliz con que los mensajes que envía con sus canciones, particularmente con rhe story of one sky, despertarsen las conciencias de quienes se dedican a dirigir el mundo como si fuera su particular tablero de ajedrez, jugando con las vidas de las personas a su antojo y buscando siempre su beneficio, sin preocuparse de los daños colaterales. He has improved, but it's not like he was at 80% and now it's 100%. He was already at 100% and now we're at about 130!

I also put you a link from behind the scene of this contest where it is question of Dimash. He was 22 at that time but he had and still has a child's heart, that's what gives him so much charm. Dimash had to stay in China for several months without knowing the Chinese language. It was the first time he was away from his family for so long. In an interview he mentioned that he found it very difficult but that the love of music and his desire to realize his dream helped him not to give up.
This artist is truly exceptional, I have never seen or heard in all my life a singer who gives himself so much in all his performances. It's like he's singing with every cell in his body and his vocal cords are directly attached to his soul. I have been following his career for several years and he still manages to amaze me. What I love about the Chinese competitors is that they don’t behave like competitors. Everyone wishes everyone luck. Everyone watches the other’s performance. Clap, sing along. In my opinion, no one begrudges the success of another. They might not have taken Dimash seriously at first, but that quickly changed after SOS. Through ist honest, cheerful and open nature, he found friends very quickly. Contacts that still exist today. Especially to Terry Lin. It’s the guy with the glasses. They had so much fun together behind the stage. Just for fun, Terry adopted Dimash and Dimash named him Papa Lin. Do not be fooled. Terry is older than he looks. He was 50 years old then. Later they performed together on stage and sang Dimash’s song Unforgettable Day together. They visit each other when they can and send each other birthday greetings. Thank you for your interest (if you’ve read it this far). You may want to see, or even react to, videos that were filmed behind the scenes of the competition. They are very interesting if you want to get to know Dimash from a different, more private side. He often looks so serious on stage and some reactors got the feeling he isn’t very funny but that’s not the case at all. He's just very focused and totally immersed in the role he has to play in the song. And nothing gets him out of it. Not often. Once in a while he lost his composure and couldn't sing anymore because of laughter.
Dimash is so wonderful. It is a delight to watch him in those Chinese TV shows at that time too. He is so playful and cute. So natural and a truly warm person

De otra Dear más desde la primera vez que lo escuché cantar, estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo en que Dimash es sin duda alguna el mejor cantante del mundo, eso no hace falta que se lo reconozca nadie, porque creo que el carácter humilde y la sincera modestia de Dimash no precisan de galardones ni ostentaciones. El es feliz haciendo lo que hace, y nos hace felices a todos los que le amamos, y creo que con eso es más que suficiente. Estoy segura de que el estaría feliz con que los mensajes que envía con sus canciones, particularmente con rhe story of one sky, despertarsen las conciencias de quienes se dedican a dirigir el mundo como si fuera su particular tablero de ajedrez, jugando con las vidas de las personas a su antojo y buscando siempre su beneficio, sin preocuparse de los daños colaterales.
