In the matter of the Enigie suspension in Edo South, records show that the Oba of Benin has solely been responsible for appointing anyone that takes the Enigie seat and not the governor
The suspended Enogies took their case to court of justice and not to the governor, so why do people always want to connect Gov Obaseki with it!

I pity Pdp In Edo state by allowing the character deficiency of Gov. Obaseki to cause major division in the party. Obaseki will have been very more diplomatic in his dealings with this party members especially his deputy Gov. Comrade Phillip shauibu. Obaseki has done his best for Edo which to some extent is commendable although not what was promised by him in his campaigns.
I can forsee that Obaseki has allow his character deficiency and lack of ability to managed his party to seed the next governorship seat to the Apc.
Criticality examining the candidates, the pdp and the LP have the best candidates but the issues within the pdp will cost them to lose this elections while for the LP grassroots mobilisation across board will be their challenge.
The analysis:
With comrade Philip shauibu combining with oshiomole, edo north is sealed for Apc. Pdp cannot get more than 20% of the vote.
Edo central will be shared between pdp and Apc. 52% -48%
Edo south is where LP will be a spoiler for the pdp because OLUMIDE Osaigbovo Apkata will get most of his vote from here.
It is very unfortunate that Gov. Obaseki could not managed the crisis of the pdp
There is nothing Obaseki could have done better than getting the current D/Governor to get some tangible votes from Akoko,Owan West and East, the rest North has always been Oshomoles own. Shahibu can never and will never beat osho.
For Edo North, don't forget that three 6 LGA and APC can only win 3 PDP will win 3. So I think it is going to be about 55% APC and 45% PDP.
EDO South is going to look like LP 40%, PDP 40% and APC 20%
In all PDP is likely to win the election by my projections.

What makes HE Gov Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki a UNIQUE LEADER in the Nigeria political space is his ABILITY and DOGGEDNESS to FIGHT for what is RIGHT to the benefit of ordinary Edo people no matter whose ox is gored.
We can deceive ourselves as much as we want and be pretending to want things to change for good without going through the fire, the fact is that nobody is going to make any positive change in our society, being in Edo state or Nigeria without the readiness to fight established transactional politicians, diplomacy at the expense of the ordinary citizens will take us nowhere.
