Very clean 1 owner tractor. Tractor was purchased new in Wabash Indiana by a school teacher who did a little farming on the side. Tractor was primarily used to pull a brush hog & was not worked hard. The only reason this tractor is on the market is because the 92 year old owner passed away. Tractor is solid & tight and runs/works as it should. There are no known issues!

Great 2840. We had a 1978 model that we used as the big tractor on our 100 acre soybean farm. Years later we bought a used MF 1155 for heavy work. Our other tractor was a Ford 3000.

Got one! She has 16,000 hours on her, has gone though the shop for a revide life. Was my main tractor, just kept upgrading on horse power with larger tractors. But i still use her a lot, put step up rims on her, a little nicer than the 34s

Very nice 2840, we use one all summer with a Kuhn 9 ft. disc mower. It does a great job and the sound of that 6 cylinder engine is sweet! Make sure to never run the hyd. oil low as it will kill the expensive to replace hi/lo clutch pack! We bought ours that way and had to replace it!
