The Last Retinue - The Hanged Lantern Inn

"The Hanged Lantern Inn was one of the oldest taverns in The Fairlands. Many rogues, royalty, and mysterious strangers have entered into this rickety reliable establishment throughout the ages with one thing in mind. Cold drink and another to cheers with.
Located outside of the capital by many miles along the crossroads into the heartland of the Fairlands, all who traveled through the mighty plains, monstrous mountains, and fairy forests have dined here along their journey. The lantern hanging outside the tavern was gifted by the first king of the Fairlands long long ago, King Asterfell I.
The folk who lived in this large farmhouse brewed ale & mead for King Asterfell’s feast after uniting the 7 largest tribes of the land. Which marked the beginning of the kingdom of the Fairlands. The farmhouse then turned into the Hanged Lantern Inn for the owners hung the lantern on a large rope from the top support beam of their roof.
Since the Hanged Lantern Inn’s inception many travelers, bards, and soldiers have stopped and stayed and became so busy that the small town of Killethwin was established with the Hanged Lantern as its main attraction."
Enjoy the medieval ambience of an Inn in a far away land. The drums of the tom beat as the house is full. The tambourines and flutes echo through the halls as the patrons enjoy fresh drink and merry company.
