No matter how much we know and understand, we are to be open to learn more about God’s will and ways. Apollos is a great role model for Christian leaders. This was a man who was powerful in the Scriptures. He was learned, fervent, and accurately spoke and taught things about Jesus. Yet, in all this knowledge he knew only about John’s baptism. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him speak they took him home and explained the way of God to him more accurately. Considering his background he could have been offended, instead he humbled himself allowing himself to be taught by them.

there is a great difference with those who were babtize in the Holy Spirit than those who were taught by mere teachers especially those Grace teachers who preach the Scriptures thru mans understanding.
