An elite player that's been in the league that long probably saw the interception happening as soon as the ball was at it's apex and knew it was. Time to seek revenge. My hardest hit I ever laid on someone was on a corner that picked a poorly thrown ball off in the flat, had to punish him immediately for taking our ball 😂
nymike06 hope to see the cowboys find the right man to replace doug free. He retired but the offensive line is still good today. I wish we could bring back Larry Allen out of retirement 😂😂, somehow make him young again..
2nd-best maybe, behind Anthony Munoz. 11 straight Pro-Bowl's, 9x first-team All-Pro, 4x NFLPA Lineman of the Year. And that was in only 12 years, vs Allen's 14.
@@mi4johns I don't know about that. Did you see the final play at the end when he ran that guy down? I didn't watch much football back then so dknt know whe he is that you mentioned is better than him so I am going to look him up on here and see who you are talking about. After watching this video I imagine he must be a monster if you are saying he is better than what I just watched here.
@@mi4johns OK just finished watching the Munoz video and wow. He even lined up as a tight end and caught passes. He was a left tackle and way more versatile and only missed 3 games his whole career. Yes you are right. He is better. The Colts left tackle just retired this year and I have heard talks of Nelson moving from guard to left tackle. I kinda hope he does so it will raise his rank on goat if he finishes his career the way he has started. Thanks for your comment. I enjoyed the video.
I would argue that the reason why Emmitt made the all-time rush record is because he had the best ever O-line to block for him. Edit: + got to give some credit to Daryl Johnston aswell.
Olli-Pekka Tuomaala it's not even an argument it's a fact. Today's Cowboys o-line is the reason for Zeke's success. Hell they even made McFadden look good even when he shared a good portion of his touches.
That's partially true, but Emmitt made them look good too. Before he got there they weren't considered great. Derrick Lassic had that line but couldn't do squat.
McFadden's 2015 numbers are empty when you consider they were terrible on 3rd and short and couldn't score rushing TDs. Zeke isn't just a product of his line. That's a bad narrative.
Put them all in a room and I guarantee you Larry is the last one standing. Absolute fucking beast of a man. He had linebacker speed, strongman-level strength and his footwork was uncanny for a man of his size. Emmit Smith, Troy Aikman, they owe Larry their careers.
I’m currently a offensive guard in the 8th grade trying to get ready for a game to determine if we got to the championship and I came here just to look at film to study on how a great like Larry Allen dealt with the D line back then
That he could bench-press 700 pounds is scary enough, but for him to be able to run that fast was/is unnerving. Imagine if this guy played defensive nose tackle?
I am a colts fan and we have Nelson and I have often wondered the same question about him. I wish the Colts would let him try a couple downs just to see what happens.
@@beetlejuice4357 They didn't and the Colts don't because a dominant offensive lineman is worth more than a nose tackle. I say that as someone who values a good nose tackle, I'm a Bucs fan and IMO our best defensive player right now is our nose tackle. I saw the difference he made in the last Super Bowl run.
He is by far the best guard to ever lace em up and that run at the end there shows what an incredible athlete he was to chase down an OLB on an interception return? And he was running faster then Aikman on that play.
For those of us who were in the Superdome for this [Fall 1994] game (just 3 rows from the top from the far end zone of this play unwinding), regardless of who was pulling/cheering for who, we ALL were amazed watching Larry Allen drop down & kick-in the over drive sprint to run down the defender & (unfortunately) prevent the Pick 6! Oh my, Big Man Hauling! Javon Kearse was known as “The Freak”, as I would like to submit that Larry Allen be known as the “OG’Freak”, as he easily is one of the top 5 fastest Offensive Line Guards to play the position.
Larry Allen watching all of this all of the ''old''games but good games makes me appreciate offensive lineman and value and treasure them and even defensive linemen even more. This dude to me was the greatest at any of the line positions in the trenches literally to his last season and STILL cleaned house in the strongman competition at the pro bowl. That's how iconic he was is and always will be.Thank you Big Larry Allen for showing me the true value of football just by watching. You are forever a beloved icon by all and truly to me the most dominant lineman in NFL's long history. We'll miss you forever and will remember you forever.Rest in power big guy..you're the best🤘💙🤍
RIP legend 😪 I remember the good old days here in Dallas. My mom used to dress the team in suit when I was little and other than being excited to meet Emmitt Smith, Larry Allen walks in and was a freaking mountain of a man… and super nice to me whenever he saw me. He is the reason I lift weights now. Much love old friend 😥
No wonder Nobody can Move him he was pushing everyone down he was the Best SUPERMAN! This is what the cowboys need Right in now they need that team of the 90s a time Machine 😊 Go cowboys Go DC4L R.I.P LARRY ALLEN U BE MISSED 🙏❤️🇺🇲🌟
Absolute monster player, a huge reason and widely overlooked for the success of the Cowboys in the 90s. He was the anchor that Emmitt ran towards, what a beast!
I miss that cowboys offensive line hell I miss there defensive line , secondary , receivers and running game. I miss them all even Bill Bates and special teams.
He played left guard, left tackle and could completely dominate with strength and speed and I say this as a Steelers fan. He is easily top 5 in offensive lineman ever.
Emmitt's career was heavily based on Mr. Allen. RIP to literally the greatest O-lineman of all time. Just an insanely gifted player and an incredible friend and family member by several peoples' accounts.
I would really like to see this guy play in today's game. Mad respect for offensive linemen. I thanked my guys after every run, they always picked me up off the ground, and they always had their backs towards me, showing me the right path 😌

The earth rotates over 1000mph soooo
This just in.. it's just a joke. Nobody did mathematical calculations. Calm down, relax. Enjoy the fat guy running.

How insane is that!

Larry Allen was the Lawrence Taylor of offensive linemen. Most dominate ever.
