I'm sad because of all the horrible things happening in the world and the bad things in my life but I'm joyful because I know that no matter what, things will get better and there are such amazing people like you guys out there to offset the bad. I'm so glad I found this place where there's nothing but positive energy and caring people. You guys are all awesome. Keep uplifting one another!

Winter break is going to end soon, and I'm already anxious for the next quarter to begin. I'm a comp sci major lol.... and I still think I suck at coding.. But I hope I get through the barrier one day and feel proud of myself.

I've graduated and been in industry for years. Where I want my coding abilities to be is still so far away, it disappears in the mists of possibilities. I must be satisfied with the life of constantly learning, even if I will never know enough
currently working on college work due in a few hours. very interested in the topic and i thought this playlist was perfect for some extra motivation :]
This is giving me an odd sense of nostalgia. specifically back to the early 2000s when i would be at daycare playing in the indoor sandpit. it was almost never allowed to be open because it made such a mess, but id get to play in it since i couldn't be outside. so instead a kid of my choice and i would play in it. god... i miss those days. i wish i never grew up. those were really such good days. Edit: I think it may be the faint sound of birds in the early morning and kids playing outside that is causing this feeling. i never hear that anymore. im always up late for work, causing me to sleep in till at least 12 pm. and I'm almost never around kids... I just don't have the time to socialize the way i want to.
This music and comments gives me hope that tommorow's gonna be better and keeps me hopeful. Thanks very much. This is the first time I have gotten love from strangers and it mattered.

COURAGE is what makes you do it, but having to chose one of these isn't what we are meant to do. Doing both is what encourages us and others! remember.. I love you, and if I can love you through a screen without even knowing you, other people love you too! .. and maybe they haven't told you it because they are going though the same thing as well! Have a project in mind, take some time to think before you start coding about what sort of logic you might need, and use tutorials to learn if they work for you. If you haven't already picked a language to start with I have two recommendations: - Python will help you get into good habits and is elegant and useful and there are good free classes and good answers will be available for your questions once you learn the words for asking them, so if you want to get into more general programming Python is a great place to start - If you're wanting to make games I've found Pico-8 to be a wonderful tool for learning code and the basics of game design at the same time, plus the community around it is wonderful; the language for that is called Lua and I recommend starting by downloading the included games and learning how they work by changing things Best of luck!
