    Sounds really amazing even through the RUclips compression. I love this album, doesn’t get as much love as BIA or COTC but really good. Nice Tascam machine too. Thanks for sharing

    I don't know where you got this analogue tape at that you claim is a master recording. Especially since "Brother Where You Bound" was recorded entirely digitally. Rick Davis said the album was an entirely digital recording during his appearance on the syndicated radio programme "Rockline," hosted by the late Bob Coburn back when the album was first released in 1985. I used to listen to that show when I was kid on Monday nights back then.

      I know it's a little late, but in '85, even if the recording was made digitally it probably had to go to a tape for the LP records and cassettes to be made. Only the CDs could be sourced from the digital files.

      Most likely a copy sent to a mastering studio to have a lacquer cut to press records in a foreign country (at least foreign to where it was recorded). There are of course copies of albums out there, it's not impossible to own one.
