I'm curious what they are going to decide on when it came to the ban of SA agri-goods, in light of Botswana talking in glowing terms about the intra-Africa trade.

So in your speak Botswana should rather keep importing and stifling it's on food security and stifling local farms thus killing Agri business in Botswana???

I think Botswana should substitute imports where necessary. The more South Africans produce food for their citizens the more prices may go down, helping the poor. The more we produce our own and sell locally, the more our farmers make money but hopefully, also, bringing prices of these items down in the long term, helping those who can't afford expensive fruits and vegetables. Where we need to import, we will call on our neighbors of course. ❤

Botswana 90 % of its goods from SA.Botswana is just asking to substitute 5% only for the sake of food security. Is this unfair Thami?

Botswana can do both. Own agriculture updates supportive of local farmers. First. SA we do not know the origin of these farmers.
