I think the moment Gear 4 gave him tattoos was the point we should have questioned the Gum-Gum fruit. I remember not being interested in One Piece way before Gear 5 and when I heard that Luffy might have a completely different power, I believed it because there is no natural way he should be able to use Red Hawk at all, let alone underwater against Hordy

@@mrsunshine3693 nope , their attacks are too weak , zoro at his fully-powered attack only put scar on him , also the others like law and kid can't deal serious damage against him because they're not capable of using advanced conquerors haki based attacks , even yamato didn't , because her advanced conquerors haki wasn't on par with kaido , while luffy's haki was equal to kaido during that time , the only good help luffy got from them was to let luffy eats food and him getting back at the rooftop.

Most of the people who saw this with infinitely extending hands were confused and thought oda was just giving luffy more plot armour or OP special physics like lava hotter than fire(it isn't 800 to 1,200 °C i.e lava vs 1100 to 3000 °C), but no one would have guessed nika.
Nope , when doffy introduces awakening , i always thought that luffy's awakening would be his standard size but with white smoke in his gear 4th , luffy can use all of his gears without further delay , turning sorroundings into rubber , while also uses the sorroundings to punch the enemies , that's what i think of during that first awakening scene of doflamingo , i told this to my friend that time , and he's not believing me , but now we're here , seeing my same idea just like oda , i'm too happy to see it.
That's always been one of my biggest gripes, that lava was considered hotter than fire. Unless it's the fire of a candle, lava is way less hot than fire than can hit 6-8 thousand degrees depending on the gas that's burning.

here they've been on the island for some time now. the black covering luffy's legs, arms, shoulders when he's in Gear 4 form is haki. when he transforms, he covers his arm in haki then bites into his forarm and blows. it takes a lot of energy so he can only be in gear 4 for a short time. he goes back to normal when he's out of energy and he can't use haki for 10 minutes. he can only transform into Gear 4 again when he can use haki again
