I’ve been following your content for a while, and I’m considering starting an Amazon FBA business.
Firstly, what are the advantages and disadvantages of having a Professional Seller account compared to an Individual Seller account for retail arbitrage on Amazon? Is it better to start with a Professional account right away, or would you recommend beginning with an Individual account?
Secondly, when setting up an Amazon FBA business, is it more beneficial to operate as self-employed, or should I consider forming a limited company (Ltd) from the start? What are your thoughts on the best structure for someone new to retail arbitrage in terms of tax benefits and business growth?

Hi Zions rants. Gummies should be fine to sell on Amazon unless they are CBD gummies in which case you might have an issue. To get a barcode, you need to open an account with GS1 and their you can create new barcodes, list them on amazon and print them off onto labels to stick on your products 👌! Hope that helps
Great video. Quick question - how likely is it that Amazon will ask you for a Certificate of Analysis, GMP or HACCP certificate when listing a supplement?

Hi BMB, thank you for this great video, please can i ask, you mentioned you just opened a new account to be able todo this, i assume you have your main account for your business, does Amazon allow you to have 2 accounts with the same IP address, how did you do this please and also is this is a business account or personal account? Yeh that’s right. But they are both business accounts as I have more then one ltd company.
Hi thank you for your informative video. I just wanted to ask regarding barcodes. If I have ten of the same item would I need different barcodes or can I use the same barcode for all ten same items?
So if you sold 1,000 units of a single product you would only need 1 barcode, printed out and labelled onto each of the 1,000 units.
If you had 2 products that each sold 1,000 units you would need 2 barcodes each printed 1,000 times. Does that make sense?
So ten products of the same item just needs 1 barcode and will only ever need one barcode as long as you are only ever selling that one item

When you purchase a barcode from GS1 it needs to be associated with a brand name. So if you don’t have that yet then I would recommend getting your brand name sorted and company set up first. I don’t offer business registration as a paid service but it’s very simple to do.

Hi Jay yes you can send products direct from your supplier to an Amazon fulfilment center. All you need to do is add the products as per this video then when you create your first shipment to send in stock, liase with your supplier to find out the details e.g. number of boxes, pallets, weight, qty of units etc.. Create the shipment from their address and email them through the shipping label. 👍
