I often find myself saying Wolfmans got nards when I'm feeling nostalgic for the good ole days. When I was a poor child and we only had a grand total of 2 vhs tapes to choose from. One of which was, you guessed it, Monster Squad. I will now be subscribing to your channel based solely on this obscure reference used as a channel name.
And what is funny or Amazing, is the fact that, even though in the movie and in his intentions, Carpenter wanted to represent the evil behind mental illness, in reality with his Shape made the perfect image of what is hidden behind schizofrenia, that has nothing to do with evil and spirit.. because his emotionless, black shape Who Attacks and makes no existing the sexuality(the vitality) of others(expecially young people) is perfect to represent in a poetic/horror way, the pulsion behind the worst mental illness.. but Carpenter was a Genius, didnt matter what he believed and said in his consciousness, what it matters is what he painted with his imagination..
Sawney Bean a source of great Scottish pride. 😬. Was also a big inspiration for TCM as well. The full story of Sawney Bean would make a mental film. 4 generations of inbred family living in a cave only coming out to rob passers by on a nearby highway. Probably a big inspiration for Wrong Turn as well.
Hey Barry, looks like you've got a secret admirer. This guy's clearly in love with you but scared of his own feelings so he puts angry stuff on your page to get your attention. That's so cute! Just tell him how you feel, Andy, he won't bite 😉
I knew about The Exorcist, also being from Maryland myself. I also knew about A Nightmare on Elm Street due to an interview with Wes some years ago.

That's what I like to hear. Only real ones know the reference. Welcome to the squad!
Thank you for the informations on the movies.
Exorcism episodes are obviously a bad example of bad psychiatry against psychosis..
they never learn!
@@WolfmansGotNards Well, not for sure in the USA.. so, if it can be cured with pills, it's the Devil..

Jeepers creepers is not based on a true story
@@Andyz47 yes it is. He's your uncle.
I think it was INSPIRED by a true story. Not based on a true story. Big difference.
