The same melody, a different time. I’d been listening for nearly two years, but today, something truly special happened. A bittersweet smile formed, my eyes narrowed slightly, gaze blurred, mind fully present. I felt myself moving toward the beginning, hands joined at a heartbreaking crossroads. Sweet eternal release-a path to infinity or a descent into relativity. With a final prayer, I chose to descend, to walk among you, to be the one who heals through my psychotherapy. I mourned the weight of this choice, a burden gathered over centuries. I embraced the privilege, laughing and crying, screaming and being silent in an endless dance. I couldn’t regret it, nor could I choose differently. Thank you deeply for this masterpiece-may it inspire many as it has inspired me.

i dont know if it's because she's not a native english speaker, but to me it sounds like 'rise up all your light' or 'rise upon your light' the v pronunciation is absent to my ears. also, everywhere i looked, it is written 'of the light', but i can never hear the 'the'. only 'of light', no matter what version i liesten to.

KEXP plays some amazing music. I just googled if they were a "real" radio station, and was delighted to see that seemingly they are. If I lived in the Seattle region, my car stereo would only ever have 1 station tuned in.
Beautiful sound that moves the surface of an angels presence around me. Sensing her name is all I need to understand. She wakes a soul from the earths core. She holds my hand to bring me through a journey that suffers no more. My angel, don't let me go, stay with. Till the moment I rise with you and I can carry your essence to the place where love is born. Childhood dreams. Ps thisisme Gypsie man.

So, I discovered this piece 20 minutes ago. Listened to it 4 times since then. Cried like a baby all four times. The very slight "gap" right at 2:18 (after "take my hand and we will...") makes me feel the same void sensation as right after passing the top of a climb on a rollercoaster. Very few pieces of are capable of doing this. "Good luck, bad luck" from Susanne Sundfor does it ("no holy grail, just an empty cup") too. And it gets me every time. You've earned a new fan, right there.
Just found it by chance here on YT, I am quite surprised by Eydis's music. Serene melodies, light instrumentation, deep atmospheres, inner feelings... time to feel and think. Seems the first non-classical music I am going to buy in years... A discovery altogether. BTW the video is also full of good taste, apparently like anything else she does.

Let's just take a moment of appreciation for Olafur Arnalds for gathering us all in here unintentionally!
My Alexa played this at night and it woke me up and I saved it immediately!!
"Harmonized heartbeat"... It's impressive how only two words can be one of the most beautiful lyrics that i've ever seen in my life.
Ci sono persone che riescono ad interpretare la musica che abbiamo dentro e noi ci riconosciamo in quei suoni
Alexa is playing this for me as I’m home relaxing, recovering from a surgery.
What a beautiful piece ❤ #2024

Everything Eydís Evensen does touches me so much.
for every note she plays
for every key she strums
grace dances
and beauty burns
to the rhythm of song
I long to see her sing
Her muse
is the poetry in music
Kalliope strings
sentimental verses
and instrumental change
Her words, are pose
poetically arranged
I take her hand
under the Midnight moon
She’s a distant melody
my familiar tune
a ballad of symphonies
and a cadence of blues
