    So awesome to see the herd welcoming him home. They check him out and he shakes away with a little prance to say "See I'm back and I AM fine!"

    Hey guys! Love the black beauty content! Random question, I see you have 6 or 7 horses in that pasture. Is there a good rule of thumb for how many horses you turn out together? Is there a herd size limit or just depends on size of pasture?

      A general rule of thumb is 2 acres per horse but we supplement with roundbales so they always have plenty to eat!
