The worst kind of people steals. You need a video explaining how you got the build back on track. How did you get the permits to be your own general contractor to build your own home? I have wondered about this for so long. It was the first thing I thought of when you showed up on my feed today. Was there ever any resolution? I can't imagine. This seems like it was several years ago to me though for some reason.
I paid 1/2 of a kitchen remodel and the work was never started the contractor did actually refund all my money except for $6500.00. He quit answering my text. I contacted the Ohio Attorney General and filed a police report but all that did was waste my time. Contacted an attorney who stated that we had a real good case but collectability would be an issue. It's useless trying to go through the justice system. The crooks are never held accountable.
Oh my goodness! I'm just seeing this video in 2024. This is terrible, and I dont understand how government agencies allow contractors to continue and just change names / licenses / file for bankruptcy. My mother gave some of ne $30,000, the contractor (unknown to her) pit it into a persoanl bank account. Child supprt came and took all the money, becaus he was a bum to his kids. 🤦🏾♀️ Im so glad that your family has been blessed and able to move forward with a dream home now!🙏🏾💖
