I remember this AMV. It was new back when I was finishing high school. I'm now out of college and working, and finding it again was like going back in time. And I love it just as I did then.
Oh wow! I can't believe you actually watched this AMV way back then! I'm glad you still like it :) If I may ask, how did you stumble across my video again?
NekoRyou I think I was watching some videos, mostly in the Spanish side of YGO, when I suddenly saw the video among the related videos. I clicked right away!
oooooh and i thought that i was bakura's #1 fan guess i was wrong hahaha wow its good to see yugioh is still living even now^^also its kinda funny how they kinda get you all mixed up and stuff but i also want to say this before the USA version there was a japanese version so think about that you know cause the 4kids dubb it so you need to go to the true part the start of yugioh^^
That's not the only reason. The trauma had caused a huge hate inside Bakura (that hate became Diabound in a so powerful monster), so, Zork used that hate in order to become Bakura in a terrible person, who was desiring the power of Darkness, and release Zork. As I said before, when Bakura fails, Zork transfer a part of his soul (with a part of Bakura's memories) into the Millenium Ring.
But maybe he actually died, in the manga, thief Bakura wasn't controlled by Yami Bakura. Of course he was the Y. Bakura's main piece, but he in fact wanted to kill Pharaoh Yugi. And, after Diabound was defeated, he became sand, but still, we will never know what actually happen, only Kazuki Takahashi...
That is explained in the manga. Yami Bakura had lost all his memories too, like Yami Yugi. But when he entered in the memory world, he started to remember things slowly. By the time that the time was reversed, he had already remembered all his memories.
@SeemSWT The spirit of the ring was a combination of Zorc and thief King Bakura. sometime before he died TB placed both Zorc and his souls into the ring, over time their souls merged. also, you're asking a question relating the anime to the manga, there will be differences not every detail of the manga will be in the anime, hope this helps.
Well, this is something complicated. In the manga, Theif Bakura in fact wanted to kill Pharaoh Yugi. But, acording to the oficial version, Zorc (Zoku or Zork in japanese) had transfered a part of his soul to Theif Bakure. And when he died, and Zork is defeated (well, he is not released), he transfered that part of himself to the Millenium Ring. But as I said before, in the manga, Bakura really wanted to kill the Pharaoh and priest.
The same??? now I'm confused... I remember that in the american version, the japanese version and the manga, Yami Bakura says that he is Zorc "Because I and Zorc are one and the same!!" "I don't need this body anymore. Now I will return to my real form!" "I'm in fact a part of Zork Necrophades' soul. 3000 years ago, Zork sealed part of his soul in the millenium ring" But well, I think that it doesn't matter. Let's enjoy the AMV
About Bakura (y'know, the bad one in the presente). I know that this is a little confused, in fact I didn't undestand the scene when Dark Bakura fused his soul with Zorc in the Memory World (I had seen that in other AMV before watched the series). The only thing that I can say is: Blame 4Kids
So...um....was Bakura(the hott evil one), is or was he actually the king thief or did he just make up the name? And when he took over the body of the guy who passes out in the beginning of the dawn of the duel episodes, was that actualy him, or just some random guy?
That's not the reason. The reason why Yami Bakura still playing after Thief Bakura's death, it was only because he had managed to put the Millenium Items in the Stone. If he hadn't, he'd have lost, because it is a roll game. If the main piece of a player dies, the player does. He kept playing because his soul was now in the Stone, and waitin for his new main piece: Zork. He brought Bakura back using a part of Kaiba's soul (when Yami was helped by Yugi, he took a portion of soul without noticing)
Not, that's not the reason. In the japanese version, when that happen, he says to Yugi: "Yugi! I admit I lost this time. Go ahead and attack. Don't worry, I won't let your friend Bakura die. Attack me! This body is very important to me. I won't let it die!". Yami Bakura is only worried about Bakura Bakura because they are connected.
he should really tell us what happened lol i think what he should have done is a thing about all the characters who survived and what they did as adults
Bakura was the theif king during his time in Egypt. I'm not sure where the "theif king" title came from. It's just one of those terms you pick up while watching the series & reading fanfiction. The guy he took over (Ryou) was i guess a reincarnation of him like how Yuugi is a reincarnation of Atemu/Yami. I hope this helped. :)
Yo are probably right, but, in anyway, there have been 3000 years ago (5000 if you believe in 4Kids), so, I don't think that he could still alive... Anyway, that's a good question... what actually happen in the past??? Acording to Yami Bakura, the Pharaoh and his priests died trying to seal the evil, but we will never know...
A but when thief king bakura died in the past that cos it was a shadow game thatw asnt the real fate of him in the past we dont know if thief king bakura died...so he could be still alive
No, not so much (I'm kidding), but if you had watched Yu-Gi-Oh! in his original version, this could be more understanding (for example, they never called "Yami" to the Pharaoh, they only called him "Yugi", "Another Yugi" or "Another me"), and there are more scenes, and you can get it better. Of course, with the manga, some "holes" in the story are understood, but with the 4Kids' version, you only get confused.
Well, if we meet in some other AMV, you can call me Aeolos, in this bizarre world called Internet everyone call me like that (long story about the nickame). And about the chat, you are welcome...

Woah that's so cool haha. I'm glad that you're still a fan even after all these years. It's always so nice to see other people still into Yugioh :D
NekoRyou Speaking of rewatching, I now can see a comment I did 10 years ago! This video is even older than I remember! Haha! Have a lovely day!
oooooh and i thought that i was bakura's #1 fan guess i was wrong hahaha wow its good to see yugioh is still living even now^^also its kinda funny how they kinda get you all mixed up and stuff but i also want to say this before the USA version there was a japanese version so think about that you know cause the 4kids dubb it so you need to go to the true part the start of yugioh^^
That has left me almost speechless . . . All I can say is that the song is so me. . .
That's not the only reason. This song fits perfectly in this video. Good job! I really, really like the intro 0:09-0:15 :D
i'm glad you liked it :]
poor bakura..

i still can't believe people are watching a MV i made over six years ago... thanks for taking the time to watch it :]
Good AMV bro.
Woah, I can't believe how much time has been since I saw this video for the first time.
And is as good as I remember it.:)
Actually, I think he comes back later in the series.

Yes it helped alot, thank you SOOOO much!!!

@gottaloveanime i secretly want a cameo appearance of the old yugioh gang. that would be quite nice D: i never really got into any of the newer ones..
that's what makes him so cool ^^
glad you like the song :]

no problem. thanks for watching my amv. [:
0:00 - 0:13 . Dear Bakura- you defeated the purpose of frisbee.

HAHA naww it's okay :] it's interesting to see what people type anyways; it makes life a tad bit more interesting, jahh? x]

he should really tell us what happened lol i think what he should have done is a thing about all the characters who survived and what they did as adults
Question. In the episode at :35 he falls down because the spirit leaves the body.... But what about Ryo? o_o

A but when thief king bakura died in the past that cos it was a shadow game thatw asnt the real fate of him in the past we dont know if thief king bakura died...so he could be still alive
@CaptianKiya ryo was unconsous in the ring
