- I love this tune. I used to jam on it a bit with my buddy Chad. Now here it is.
I threw in parts of the video at the beginning 'cause otherwise it's just me sitting at my drum set for like a full minute doing nothing, and I HATE cutting out bits of songs, so there it is.
Everyone should purchase as much Primus stuff as possible. - Видеоклипы
Great cover! I keep trying to get my son to play this for me...It usually makes my arms cramp up for some reason.
I agree, great choice for a cover and masterfully done. I look foreward to seeing more of your work.
after 14 y, back to this video...bro, this deserve 100milion views
I was curious about a few parts and was curious if anyone video'd themselves playing it. (90% of people have never even heard the song..lol) thanks for posting this video!
Some SBP covers make it look doable for a beginner, not this one. This one is the benchmark example.
The whistle is part of the tune. It's actually in there. Sorry aboot the sudden drumness. The mix of my drums and song maybe leaves a bit to be desired at the beginning, eh? Still, maybe there's something to terrifying the populous with my 10" snare drum! I may need to do it more often!
Just got to see Primus for the first time this Friday night at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN and this song was one of the standouts. Amazing. The instrumental parts were incredible.
Good drumming. I'm a RUclips drum vid freak. I'll watch them all. Good job on a cool song.
It's from the actual video for Southbound Pachyderm. You can get all their videos on their "Animals should not try to act like people" CD, which has 5 tunes on it plus a DVD with all their video stuff. It's good times indeed!

Just saw that there's a copyright claim on this, which means in some countries it's unviewable, but it also means that I'm unable to allow it to be seen on mobile thingers. So there it is. Now we know!
thanks. I think. I meant to adjust that, but it somehow slipped my mind and then it was already all upped n stuff and now there it is. Hope the rest is OK....
Good work. You lost it couple of times but it's a tough song to play.
Great cover, you cover like my two favorite bands, primus and dream theater

Just Amazing...
THANK YOU!!!!
cool!
Thanks!
I KNOW! The first time I recorded it, I did EVERYTHING I could to pick them up, but then my snare would be WICKED loud throughout, and I was too lazy to go through and change the volume for EVERY single snare hit.
There's probably a way to do it easily in the program, but I don't know how.
If any one uses Cubase and knows how to fix this PLEASE let me know!!
nah. It's the same camera, I've just finally started realising that you work with the picture (saturation, hues, brightness, etc.)
I still don't get any of it, but it seems I can sorta match up the different angles to mostly look the same under the terrible lighting conditions I work in! (Poor, poor me, I know!!)
@LegoAnimator55 That's great! Tama's the way to go!! ;-)
As far as crash/rides are concerned it REALLY depends on what you like to play. What kind of music are you into? If it's rock/Metal you're gonna want a definite "ping" to it, where as if you're into punk or even jazz you may want more of a wash to it. It's hard to say. Brands don't really matter. There's a lot of great stuff out there. Ideally, go into a music shop, try out stuff and whatever sounds best to YOUR ear is what you should get!
Man, incredible cover my friend! And your drumset does look quite godly.
DUDE, AWESOME DRUMMIN' .....IN THE POCKET!
@SirBass7player: Gracias Amigo!
