Thanks! The first part w/ the melody was actually inspired by the photo. It repeats at around the 50 min mark, although lower. I tried to give it a vaguely 80s melancholic horror movie-feel.
Honestly, I've been running d&d games with ambient for years and anything by Iron Cthulhu is always leaps and bounds better. I cant really put my finger on it, but they're just amazing. Thanks mate for all the hard work and great music. Cheers

He could feel his bed shaking frantically. Someone was yelling beside his ear, perhaps in an attempt to wake him, to jerk him out of this deep hypnotic trance. But who? Why would anyone ever want to force someone out of a place like this? The sound of someone's weeping trickled in. The yelling got louder, but he ignored their attempts to pull him from this new, peaceful state. Besides, their loss was presumably worth his yield of the Dream Era...
You only are able to look at the abyss when you have already been up on top of the mountain. Or let that deep hidden, sometimes supressed self express itself through art. Whatever.... the dark cave where the child will be born. Soul.
I was watching a rock music video, were I saw extremely! haunting visuals of distant creepy creatures in the far distance, and the illustrations described my dream vividy. I got really alarmed thinking i was just having the typical interdimensional nightmare about a freaky YT experience , and low and behold ; I scroll to the next music video to get it out of my head, I clicked play, and scrolled down , to interact with people; I swiped my thumb down with a lil more effort than normal, and low and behold I found you,.... describing the previous dream I was trying to get away from verbally.............; It became clear now, theres no escaping these things , and it wasn't my imagination.......... after all, but the question is, what do they want my dear good friend?

Especially the "second movement" from 8:13 to 25:20, I slip right into a lucid dream state whenever I want to go "away" for a few minutes. And then at the "fourth movement" at 34:45 to 48:30 Wow!
