This play underscores Monken's maturation as a playcaller more than anything. The Steelers have "had Lamar's number" because they built their entire defensive scheme around NOT letting him run and daring him to pass. In previous seasons Lamar was both not developed enough as a passer and didn't have the personnel around him to call Pittsburgh's dare. This game Monken said, "Okay. You're so determined to stop Lamar from running that I'm going to unleash Henry between the tackles, while you watch Lamar, then I'm going to fake a hand-off AND fake a Lamar run and pick you apart outside." This TD pass was a fake-pitch and a fake run which left Likely WIDE OPEN for the walk in. ALL EYES ON LAMAR, left the rest of the field wide open. Tomlin's going to have to go back to the drawing board because this OL truly dominated his guys up front. If Justice Hill hadn't gone down this would've been a much more lopsided game.
I don't like when people say "they had Lamar's number"... no I disagree, because the WRs constantly let him down, this season, Tucker let him down, and play calling ALWAYS let him down. When people say that, it insinuates (to me) that Lamar is expected to become superman ... but the best part about this video was the sound of disappointment when you saw Fitzpatrick outta place .. that sigh cracked me up LMAOOOO

You also have to check Andrews' touchdown, and watch Derrick Henry block Watt with his shoulder!

Thing is the Steelers havent really played Lamar at home in front of the Ravens home crowd....majority of the Ls Lamar took were on their field.
