I have had enough experience with this topic. My mother suffered from this condition and was in and out of institutions all through my childhood. Hers was severe. It brought on paranoia and delusions of Granger. She was very aggressive and physically abused me. Well, I was younger. She lacked emotions and empathy. She would see things and hear things that were not there. Unfortunately, hers was never treated properly and eventually took her own life. I wish they would have done more. Eventually,my mom took her own life. Wish there was more research back then. Because most meds that were Prescribed back then only worked short-term. There needs to be a lot more information put out about the life span of people suffering from schizophrenia and how current antipsychotic drugs are causing shorter life spans. And how CBD treatment of schizophrenia may drastically increase life span of people who suffer from schizophrenia. Living longer and stronger. Please stress this factor to help people to use CBD in treatment of this deadly disease that cuts life short due to current antipsychotics' side effects.
Wow, right on. I definitely think that it's an autoimmune disease, like Dr. McDougall had spoken about. The anti-inflammatory properties of CBD seem to definitely be part of their antipsychotic effect on schizophrenia. One of my concerns is about possible drug interactions between antipsychotic drugs and CBD, I feel like side effects of Abilify (Aristada) may be beginning to increase after starting CBD a couple weeks ago almost, it may not be related though.. could even just be anxiety from worry about that and other things related to the medicine and mental illness. Anyway, nice video.. very informative. 😀
