- Subhadra was the 4th wife of 3rd Pandava Arjun. She had a son with Arjun, named Abhimanyu. She was a daughter of Vasudev, who is Lord Krishna's father. Rohini was her mother. In this way, Subhadra was Krishna's half-sister. Balaram was her brother.

Subhadra, probably the second protagonist in Mahabharata, she lead the future of the kuru clan. We mostly forget her while glorifying others. The most underrated character in Mahabharata!

It wasn’t because Subhadra was great or Arjuna loved Subhadra(that’s not true but still for u guys😂) Abhimanyu was never the king! He wasn’t even a candidate! Yudhishthira and Draupadi’s son Prativindhya was the future king! He was already the Yuvaraj at Indraprastha during Rajasuya!! He had the foremost right! Draupadi’s blood still had the foremost right on the thrones of both Hastinapura and Indraprastha!
There is nothing that is worth glorifying about Subhadra! If it was, Vyasa would have already done that! Nobody becomes great due to others or by getting an opportunity lost by someone due to unavoidable circumstances! Subhadra has got everything due to others! She is known by others! She doesn’t have her own identity, at least Vyasa didn’t mention any of her own qualities! Krishna’s sister and Abhimanyu’s mother are not her qualities! She was known by these people because they were great! Not her!!
Bdw, Draupadi doesn’t need others to glorified her! She has already enormously glorified by Vyasa in all aspects throughout the epic! She is at the centre of the epic! Vyasa has written nothing about Subhadra as compared Draupadi and though the epic was narrated to Subhadra’s great grandson! So Vyasa exactly gave her the minimum importance that she deserved!
Know and understand the facts and the truths dear! Abhimanyu was the incarnation of Chandra’s son Varchas! And while sending him on earth , Chandra demanded that the lineage would go ahead with Abhimanyu’s son because Kurus were Chandravamshis! Yadavas are also Chandravamshis! And because Lord Narayana himself incarnated in Yadava clan, that clan was chosen! Chandra even planned Abhimanyu’s death on the 13th day and inside Chakravyuha! So everything for Abhimanyu was planned already by Chandra!

Arjuna during his exile grows long hair and beard as that of a yogi. At the same time when Krishna and Arjuna enter Dwaraka, Balarama orders Subhadra to serve Arjuna thinking him as a holy person during which Subhadra inquires Arjuna if he visited Indraprastha and asks about the wellbeing of Arjuna as she's curious to know about him. They always loved each other.
Subhadra had to live without Arjun for 13 years and raised her son abhimanyu alone so valiantly and somewhere I have heard that she took care of upapandavas also and loved them equally .Truly a great mother
Dhristidyumna took the Upapandavas to Kampilya where he raised them as warriors.
Upapandavas went on the last year probably during Pandavas agnyavas time only upapandavas came to dwarka and stayed with them just one year only and that too all Krishna wife's, balarama wife, Krishna father everyone took care of their needs and Draupadi sons were all grown up boys not kids to be around feeding them stop watching serials. Dhrishadhyum took care upapandavas for the whole vanavas times of Pandavas and draupadi so again there is no great part for subhadra in taking care of Draupadi sons Upapandavas. Abhimanyu was not kid aswell during Pandavas and draupadi exile. Don't bring upapandavas here unnecessarily.

Devi Yogmaya the one who protects and helps Vishnu is born to Nand and Yashoda. The Bhagvatam and Harivansh Puranas give her names. Subhadra isnt one of them. Devi Yogmaya is named as Ekamsha. She is swopped by Vasudev with the baby Krishna. She takes the form of Durga when kans tries to kill her (Bhagvatam).
Devi Yogmaya then goes to the Vindhya mountain range and kills Shumbh and Nishumbhs re-incarnations. (All these kathas are depicted in Markandeya puran, Harivansh puran, Brahma Vaivart Puran and continue where Bhagvatam leaves off)
Devi Yogmaya/ Durga stays there in the form of the self manifested murti of Vindhyavasini Devi. Lord Krishna meets Devi Vindhyavasini when he comes back from Indralok after taking the parijat tree. Praying to her at this temple for victory, Devi blesses him with victory in the Mahabharat war. (Harivansh Puran and Bhram Vaivart Puran gives details and prayers uttered in this regard.) This is the reason Krishna instructs Arjun to pray to Durga before the Mahabharat for victory in the famous “Arjun Krit Durga Stotram” wherein the verses composed and uttered by Arjun state that Devi Durga was born as a cowherd girl in the home of Nand and Yashoda.
Subhadra Devi is born ten years after Krishna and Balram to Vasudev and his wife, Suprabha. Krishna and Balram are already in Gurukul at this time. Subhadra is therefore not the same sister that is born to Nand and Yashoda .
Subhadra is a human, not a Goddess and is a re-incarnation of Trijata, the daughter of Vibhishan, who served Sita in Lanka and was rewarded to be a sister to Ram's next incarnation as Krishna. She marries Arjun.
Devi Yogmaya, who was born of Nand and Yashoda, named Ekamsha is a form of Durga, who will only ever marry Shiva. Harivansh Puran mentions that Ekamsha marries Durvas Rishi (a form of Shiva born through Atri and Anasuya). Krishna does her kanyadan.
Things like “Yogmaya isnt Durga”, etc. is false evidence provided by ISKCON because they don't want to admit that all of the purans mention that Yogmaya and Mahamaya aren't seperate entities, but the same Goddess. This is confirmed as Devi has 16 forms of which two is Yogmaya and Mahamaya depending on her activities. Please note that this is what is revealed in the scriptures including Bhagvatam.
It is only subsequent literature from ISKCON that goes against all revealed scripture to make the personalities of Ekamsha and Subhadra one.
In Mahabharat we see that Subhadra comes to Draupadi dressed as a cowherd girl still. How can this be the Yogmaya then? Subhadra and Ekamsha aren't the same personalities: If you are a devout ISKCON follower, keep this in mind even if you don't accept it..

This is totally opposite to what shown in mahabharat serial star plus, it is shown that subhadra was the first among the couple who got attracted to other i.e. Arjuna. It is shown that subhadra was a friend of dushchala only sister of hundred Kauravas. Subhadras and Arjuna's interaction happened for first time when subhadra came to Hastinapur to stay with her friend dushchala and Arjuna also after many years staying in Hastinapur because before he completed his studies Gurukula under Dronacharya guidance. It is shown that the moment subhadra saw arjun she got awestruck. It is shown that arjuna married subhadra when he was in penance as he entered antahpura in indraprastha when yudhishthir and Draupadi were together. but it is shown that subhadra was more Happy and Arjun was in dilemma to marry subhadra or not but he was convinced by Krishna. Later Subhadra drove chariot to runaway with arjuna to get married as per instructions of krishna because balrama brother of subhadra decided that subhadra was going to marry duryodhana.why this lot of confusion is generated why can't the directors depict actual thing happened in history 🤦

Actually subhadra was not the daughter of basudev. We all know that Basudev exchanges the childs by the order of akashvani. So the girl child brought by basudev is actually subhadra. She at first converted her into a power as she was the yogomaya. In mahavarot we can find that after sometime subhdra reminds lord krishna that she is yogomaya.

Don’t see…just go read Vyasa’s original text and you will realize that Draupadi made the greatest sacrifices, she was the one who suffered the most! Subhadra and Abhimanyu are nothing in front of her and hence Vyasa strictly kept both of them subordinate to Draupadi!

Details:
Devi Yogmaya the one who protects and helps Vishnu is born to Nand and Yashoda. The Bhagvatam and Harivansh Puranas give her names. Subhadra isnt one of them. Devi Yogmaya is named as Ekamsha. She is swopped by Vasudev with the baby Krishna. She takes the form of Durga when kans tries to kill her (Bhagvatam).
Devi Yogmaya then goes to the Vindhya mountain range and kills Shumbh and Nishumbhs re-incarnations. (All these kathas are depicted in Markandeya puran, Harivansh puran, Brahma Vaivart Puran and continue where Bhagvatam leaves off)
Devi Yogmaya/ Durga stays there in the form of the self manifested murti of Vindhyavasini Devi. Lord Krishna meets Devi Vindhyavasini when he comes back from Indralok after taking the parijat tree. Praying to her at this temple for victory, Devi blesses him with victory in the Mahabharat war. (Harivansh Puran and Bhram Vaivart Puran gives details and prayers uttered in this regard.) This is the reason Krishna instructs Arjun to pray to Durga before the Mahabharat for victory in the famous “Arjun Krit Durga Stotram” wherein the verses composed and uttered by Arjun state that Devi Durga was born as a cowherd girl in the home of Nand and Yashoda.
Subhadra Devi is born ten years after Krishna and Balram to Vasudev and his wife, Suprabha. Krishna and Balram are already in Gurukul at this time. Subhadra is therefore not the same sister that is born to Nand and Yashoda .
Subhadra is a human, not a Goddess and is a re-incarnation of Trijata, the daughter of Vibhishan, who served Sita in Lanka and was rewarded to be a sister to Ram's next incarnation as Krishna. She marries Arjun.
