Thats why im selling up everything to live on a narrow boat i cant wait
This is why I watch narrowboat vids. Meditative and joyful at the same time - my bones feel like jelly now :-) Thank you
Thanks for your comment Kate, happy that you're chilled out now, you can't beat a bit of narrowboating for that mellow feeling :-)
I moored my boat on the Thames and loved to sit on deck late at night, the planes had stopped flying into Heathrow and all was quite. Cup of coffee in hand and listening to the water flow by, the cattle in the field opposite, birds in the trees settling down for the night. Magic your video brought all that back to me, thanks. BS
Thank you for your lovely comment, I think it sums up perfectly the pleasure of being on board :-)
Best one yet, so relaxing, im off to bed now, thanks.
Cheers Mike, sweet dreams :-)
What a nice relaxing video, definitely rewatch in winter to remind us of what a nice summer day can be with out all the snow around! Loved it!
Cheers! yes definitely one to rewatch, especially when the canal freezes over :-)
Thanks, for the ride! A very peaceful video with the right music!
Very nice. Felt my blood pressure drop 10 points while watching. :) Thanks for posting.
Fair winds.
And a big thank you for watching :-)
yes in deed very relaxing!
Cheers!
Ahoi, sehr schöne Dokumentation.
Vielen Dank!
So soothing :) Thanks T&T :)
Cheers, Ronnie!
Gosh it always surprises me how huge the locks are. I'm used to the T&M or the Shroppie where it's not at all the same. Your videos really make me want to explore the Northern canals.
They are massive, aren't they! Thanks for watching :-)
very enjoyable vid, thanks Guys
Thank you for watching!
Just listening to the sounds of silence.
I wonder how quite an electric narrow boat would actually be.
We can't wait till this is us we will have to meet up at sprotbourogh next year for a weekend bbq see if you can drag some boat tubers along
Ooh, yes, and maybe squeeze in a visit to the Boat Inn :-)
One thing that has always puzzled me about these northern navigations is what all those small square holes in the masonry are for, on lock walls and the like. Any idea?
No, we're not sure either but we'll come back to you if we find out!
Great video. Thanks! Would have loved to not had the music and simply the sounds of the canal and the boat.
Next time we do a cruise video we'll give it a go!
