Dracula: Live from Transylvania was a cheesy live television special hosted by George Hamilton that aired lived during the Halloween season of 1989. In between the handful of informative and interesting moments, the show was chock full of awkward statements and insipid comments, production on-air gaffes, and even the makers of the two-hour special seemed to have a certain degree of contempt for both the subject and the audience as they made the running theme of the show Transyvania sucks, vampires are stupid, and George Hamilton is made to look like a boob who would rather be doing anything but hosting this show.
