This is probably the best Wake Me Up performance they've ever done. I'm not a big fan of that song but it's GREAT here. I'm also in love with this more rocky version of Jump too!
It was timing. In The US the Boy Band/Girlband was going downhill in The US. Also there's no Polydor in The US therefore there was no distribution. Also The Popstars Groups from the US tanked.
Always goes down to timing. Us Brits do produce brilliant music acts. When it comes to the USA market, the Spice Girls are a great example of perfect timing.
I hope those of us that went to see them live on this tour realise how lucky we are. We saw all 5 perform together for the last ever time and I highly doubt the surviving 4 will tour again in the future. Maybe a one off show but nothing like this. Sarah is simply irreplaceable 😢
@@kerronwalker1589 Part of me wished they came to the US and part of me am glad they didn't. I'm from the US, but not a fan of Hollywood - kind of trashy and fake. I love the girls the way they were - clean, beautiful; they just mesh really well together. They didn't need the US-they were very popular the way they were.
Listen to the beginning with The Drumbeat. It sounds like they bought Motown's Influence without realizing. If you can watch the Documentary Standing In The Shadows Of Motown about The Funk Brothers who were next to The Wrecking Crew some of the best Session Musicians of all time. I can't help but think of Drummer Benny "Papa Zita" Benjamin (RIP).
laminage pretty much everything the girls did had an intentional 21st century motown vibe, xenomania (who wrote their songs) styled a lot of their music in a similar vein
Low key this whole tour makes me wonder what would have come next had they not split, like we got Tangled Up after their first hits album, so imagine the GA2013/2014 era that could have been
Never Say Never! If somebody offers them the Bucks to do a Tour or another Album, they'll do it. I only discovered them earlier this year while Channel Surfing. They are amazing. I live in Canada and like The US they didn't make it. Keep in mind this isn't surprising considering that POPSTARS Groups in North America didn't do well.
laminage sadly Cheryl now too famous for girls aloud. Don't think they'll ever reunite again sadly. Plus too much water under the bridge between Cheryl and nadine!'
Kind of sad though. Cheryl did well but she's no Beyoncé or Diana Ross and she did much better than former POPSTARS: The Rivals Judge Geri Halliwell. I wish that someone could sit them down and say don't let petty squabbles and jealousies get the best of you. So many Girl Groups started out and then they had bad falling outs. Look at Destiny's Child, it will be a cold day in H@ll before all Six perform together on Stage including Latavia Robinson, LaToya Luckett, & Farrah Franklin. TLC knew they were finished when Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died, and even N'Sync probably will never perform again together because Justin Timberlake's Career went into the Stratosphere.
laminage I agree. Look at the sugababes, they were good and successful when Heidi joined the band. Then when Keisha the black one got kicked out the band they went down hill. Too many bands start off amazing and are likeable, then success and fame gets to their heads and it ruins them.
Yes. Sometimes I feel that they kind of resent the fact that Girls Aloud were able to have Hit Records "with" each other but "without" each other. That almost never happens with Boy Bands/Girl Groups. New Edition did well but now it's divided into Two Camps. Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins & Ronnie DeVoe perform as Bell Biv Devoe while Bobby Brown performs with Johnny Gill & Ralph Tresvant. They do Shows mostly at HCBU (Historically Black Colleges & Universities) or "Old School Shows". Also, Johnny did a Collaboration as part of LSG (Levert Gerald who as part of Levert had The Hit Record Casanova, whose Father Eddie was one of the Co-Founders Of The O'Jays & Keith Sweat whose probably best known for the Hit Record "I Want Her". I also felt bad for The Three Degrees (When Will I See You Again). So many ladies came through that Group and give The Brits their props. They have always been supportive of Black Artists, you guys knew who The Funk Brothers were before North America did. Richard Barrett is a Poor Man's Berry Gordy and did you know that Two of them allegedly worked with Diana Ross in her Supremes Reunion Tour. It flopped but each Woman walked away with A Million Dollars.
Their best performance maybe ever. Also doesn't it sound like most of the girls are lip-syncing during the chorus of Wake Me Up? I can only hear Nicola and someone else sing during that part lol
Thank god I went to this tour, never would have imagined one of them would sadly pass away so young and there never would be a chance to see them all again.
Sarah was an amazing singer but even she admitted dancing was not her forte! The cameramen would have concentrated on Kimberley and Cheryl mainly as they were the dancers of the group and had that stage presence
The years Nicola was slept on is mad crazy!
Nicola and her vocals blew the roof off 😍😍😍
The Coyle is amazing! “My passion belongs to me, myself and I”
Jesus, Nicola was on point here! Absolutely shining like the star she is 👍🏻

Yeah, on the recorded version the vocals are too loud and don't mix right with the guitars
Oh Sarah 💔 rest easy darling 😢
Nicola ♥ She sounds amazing!!!!!
"Now was it just the margaritas or are u lookin at me?"
Lol, that line.
😂
Nadine living during Nicola's verse at 2:00 is a mood.
😂 for real!!!!
Nadine living.
Kimberley's vocals were on point here. Sad that people dont give her enough credits for her efforts in GA
This is my favourite performance from The Ten Tour Era!!
The way Nicola sings the word cool leave me shook
Rebecca Beetham yeah right?!! I feel the same way ❤️
Whyyyy
Every time i watch their videos i wonder why they did not have become famous across the whole world. Massive pop group!

Pussycat Dolls had already changed the Girlband dynamic by 2005
Nicola=GA's secret weapon
Yaaaasssss
Brilliant girl group they need to get back together we Still miss you Sarah you were great singer ❤ with Such energy ❤ so much sass
they all seem so confident
I hope those of us that went to see them live on this tour realise how lucky we are. We saw all 5 perform together for the last ever time and I highly doubt the surviving 4 will tour again in the future. Maybe a one off show but nothing like this. Sarah is simply irreplaceable 😢
Well it’s happening!
01:53 Nicola
Veh Barroso she is a queen!
Sweet Sarah 💔
I think if they continued they would eventually have made it to America. Such a shame
Michael Taishi Singleton Nadine just signed a major record deal with Virgin records in America
I'm kind of glad they never did honestly because then there music and sound would of changed just like the sugababes
@@terrischannel6808 flopped lol

With more success world wide, it opens doors to making more music and creative videos.
Nadine
So underrated
Nadine is sensational
wow Nicola sounds sensational
I know right! She's the most conservative as far as I'm concerned, but when she wants to she can come out so to speak and bring the house down!
Yeah, she is gorgeous but Nadine is by far the best singer, if you can hear, easily the best voice!
shes a great singer

I wish they were famous in the US
Nicola Roberts....Wowser girl!!
Nadine SLAYS walking down that catwalk. So the leader of the pack
Dancing #Cheryl a melhor 👏👏👏👏😍😍😍
This is insane 😍😍
3:31 alyssa edwards realness! Love these girls!!
hahahahhahaha
My god nicola really worked on her vocals
She was always great. She just didn't get to showcase it much in the band
I don't think she had to work that's her natural talent but sadly missed due to the fact she is in a girl group 😕
2:36 "My passion belongs to Me myself and I!"
🔥🔥

1:59 She was so cute here

RIPSARAH
The boys are doing running upstairs on the stage 4:36

is this the tour where after the show they twitted the fans that they were splitting?
Yes
Thank god I went to this tour, never would have imagined one of them would sadly pass away so young and there never would be a chance to see them all again.
WOW
The cameraman focused on Sarah only ONCE during both performances. Lol
Bet they deeply regret that now.
Sarah was an amazing singer but even she admitted dancing was not her forte! The cameramen would have concentrated on Kimberley and Cheryl mainly as they were the dancers of the group and had that stage presence
4:31 cuties 🥹🩷
Nicola! Wow!
Nicola was done so dirty when it came to lead vocals. Zero hate towards Nadine, but Nicola should’ve been used more than she was 🤍
nicola is the best
Agreed
Oh, I wouldn't mind a jump . . . but which one first?😋😋😏😏😋😋???
Cheryl😍😍😍
Can't sing
I know she is dead, but can everybody stop fixating on Sarah. Nicola was the roughest one by far.
I hate how Nicola oversings everything now. She learned to belt and hasn't stopped!
How I wish she'd do again something soft like her part in the studio version of "whole lotta history".
wrist ache
The other three really didn't do much apart from look good. and if you know which three I'm talking about you've kind of proven my point....
Wow, White girls. As an American I find this very refreshing.
HARDCOOOOORE
❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
