Hi, Chinook is not a decision maker for the visa applications nor an AI SW.
it simply offers a consolidated view in a more user-friendly way, instead of a multiple screen layout of the application’s information.
Thats is what IRCC explains.

Chinook is indeed and AI integrated software
It is not making decisions but it is influencing decision by selecting which "key information" to present to ircc officer
There is an algorithm used to select the "key information"
But ircc won't disclose what is "key information" and why refusal rates from certain countries has drastically increases
And why thousands of applications get declined with same refusal reason
There is no check on who and how that algorithm selects information
There is no process to reprimand any officer / visa office that has highest rejection rate compared to his/her peers or other visa offices

Yes. We have sound statements like "application processed using Chinook" on gcms notes
Also note ircc also redract a lot of information when sending gcms notes. So at times they remove the Chinook statement before sending notes

As IRCC using artificial intelligency so whether the visa officer going to read our explanation why we get refusal?? onec I got Canada visit visa refusal in 2011 while I was in UK and once in Netherlands both tourist visa .. and both refusal mentioned in LOE during PR application.. am I in safe side ???
What we know so far is IRCC use the software to sort the application and at the end an officers review the application for less than 2 to 6 minutes and make a decision using the software, And the software Prince the refusal letter hands there is not a lot of explanation on why the application is refused
The refusal rate in the recent time has gone up
To fight the system and fight the immigration department you have to make a pitch perfect application
and if they give you a refusal you have to have a good application to go back to them and fight that you actually are eligible to come to Canada

If you reapply without addressing ircc concerns, your visa will be declined again. And third time it will be even harder to get approval. You do need a good RCIC to handle your file. Your call to make on how to proceed

Our visitor visa as parents( both of us government pensioners ) to visit our son refused twice made me watch this video. Now my son applied for GCMS Note. Waiting for it. As you rightly said ours is a good profile and never expected a refusal...was totally upset over it
It's very common. Sometimes there is a actual issue with the file. And other times we are seeing very unreasonable refusals.
@askaman refused third time also that too within 4 days. Obtained GCMS Note before applying 3rd time,which had nothing new otherthan mentioned in rejection letter. Really desperate, don't know why....refusal

2. Your pr application will not be affected by this work permit refusal. Unless the refusal reason are related to criminal or medical inadmissibility

For retired individuals proof of funds is not required individually, but it plays an part to establish their intentions to return

Hey there, I accidentally put my full name in the family name section of the form and now on GCkey, the applicant name is not what’s there on my passport. Will it cause any issues considering they already have all my documents such as passport indicating that it might be a mistake?

Your application will not be affected if you can’t give your biometrics by the expiry date on your biometric instruction letter. However, we can’t process your application without your biometrics.
Your deadline to give your biometrics will be automatically extended until you can book an appointment and visit a biometrics collection site.

Hi Aman...i had applied for visitor visa and given biometrics on 28 jan 2022...on 1 feb 2022 i got reply from ircc and unfortunately visa was rejected. One of the reason for rejection was Family ties in Canada And Country of residence... Firstly i do not have any family member in Canada then on what basis they might have said this? And secondly my parents who are senior citizens will be in India only while i visit Canada still ircc rejected saying i do not have family ties in country of residence. Can u pls tell what to do to justify both the things?

Hi sir . When I uploaded my documents for student visa , in the LOA section(provide document) I accidentally named my File LOA, Fee receipt and Health insurance. But I haven’t provided any health insurance, but in my offer letter it’s mentioned that all students studying on campus must enroll in health insurance. What vil b d diff in study permit application if i do it with lawyer?how can ircc vil get to know file was filled by lawyer or agent?
We submit a submission letter with our credentials and explanation of the application
And a use of representative form.
So ircc officer read the submission letter to learn about the application first before reviewing documents
In that submission letter we usually use case laws to strengthen the weak points of application and prove to immigration officer how the applicant fulfils the requirements according to law and how federal court decisions support what we are explaining

Hello sir while I was applying for temporary study permit application, by mistake I forget to submit my Bank statement, but I have submitted my sponsor Bank statement successfully, but I have explained about my savings account in letter of explanation, so how can I submit my Bank statement or what shall I do # is there anyway.

My visa was refused twice.
Unfortunately it's impossible for every officer to know all court guidelines. So successfuly use them we carefully prepare a submission letter stating how the court guideline apply specifically to a particular case.
Even with the best presented application sometimes the erroneous ircc system flag application for rejection but for well prepared applications we have chance to ask for reassessment and take it to court got JR.
in simple language, IRCC software determines key information and present it to the immigration officer for making a decision, but IRCC do not release any information on how the software determine what is the key information in the application, and they are reluctant to confirm that if the software makes mistakes and actually finding out the key information and presenting it to the officer.
Can ircc refuse visa based on age and last qualification. Being 36 years old and having mba degree, if there is high chance of visa rejection if I apply for pg or double master?

For studies you need tuition fees plus living expenses plus some extra contingency money. So if tuition fees is around $16,000 per year, living expenses is $10,000 per year this won't be enough

I just confirmed from the math department of the University of Manitoba where I had an offer that the scholarship amount is 25,400CAD , the tuition fee is 14,000CAD and room & board is approximately 10,000CAD. So, will this be convincing enough to use as proof of funds?

Hello sir. Im done with Biometrics and medicals are passed also. Do you think ill get an approval soon? Or what are the odds that Ill be rejected or refused for my work permit. By the way applying a work permit under LMIA stream and Im waiting for PPR.
And Im on 7th week waiting for PPR. my application was lodge here in Macau and work permit processing is 8 weeks as stated on the website.
I can't say if it will be approved or rejected just based on this information alone.
