Filled with drama, speed and the odd navigational mishap, it has been a Dakar for the ages with every participant worth their salt.

This sums up the Dakar 2022 the drama, the many first for the rally , dominance on some category , and most of all a better coverage with astonishing content in each highlights. Thank you to the organizers and expecting a better Dakar next year.

With the voice of Thierry Sabine, the founder of the Dakar (ex Paris - Dakar) rally, he must be proud of what he achieved. Sadly, he past away in 1986 😞

It was an incredible edition, beautiful, full of emotions, and fought up to the last kilometer, personally the most impressed me was Danilo Petrucci, because with only 4 days of training (then he broke his right foot .. ) to be able to always go that fast is an incredible thing ... seeing him with shining eyes as he says" I wanted to leave a mark in motorsport and I made It!) breaks my heart. Of course let's not forget the Malle riders Bikes that are heroes even before leaving for the first stage.
Only 10mn? I know this is a serious editing job, but should have been longer! We'll have to wait a year for the next highlights! 😅

im really impressed by the audi the fact that they were able to complete the rally in an electric car
I looked up the car as I was very impressed as well and was a bit surprised to find out it is actually a Diesel engine that charges a battery pack that powers the car. So the battery does not last yet but the components seem to withstand the beating of the elements.
Thanks for all the emotions 😢🙏🏼...hope we get an hour of documentary footage of this season too 🙏🏼

It's amazing how these cars can flip over like that and the drivers can walk it off but then someone dies in a normal traffic accident. RIP Quentin.
I think one of the most expensive things in these cars is the safety system from inside and outside the car

so in this video despite the beatiful scenery is double bounce twist suspension truck reveal and show stuff that car tyres are or truck are even better on 15-20% less tyre pressure as they bounce stabily is not ordinary trucks with specialized suspensions for speed is actualy best optimized vehicle for speed and durability in race makes it top match performance and win at end in meanwhile if you didnt listen or didnt care you end without tyre or all suspension part with arm or do ballet dance or truck or car thats nothing new

Have to say that a 10 minute video is pretty pathetic as a highlights package for the two week event. Overall you're daily 10 minute daily reviews felt like slim pickings. I love the Dakar and look forward to it each year and every year I am disappointed by the coverage that it receives, especially from the Official channel and website. PLEASE give us more in future!!!!!!

5:49 i am fascinated by the level of natural and geographical knowledge that most of the participants had, however powerful their engine were, speed only meant one thing, overheating due to suffocation from the sand,... i observed that most teams went full on with their suspensions and shock systems (7:20 ), both the ride height and stifness was configured wrongly for most conditions such as incline angles of the dunes, which explains the bouncing. tyres were fully inflated, another risk, a fully inflated ball bounces more than a less inflated one. The wheel camber wasnt considered,which would have increased stability .
From my own understanding , a tropicalized landcruiser done in Tanzania would have perfomed better due to the years of ground work done on similar conditions both in the kenyan sand dunes of the chalbi , the harsh environment of the samburu, and the rocky savannas of the mara.
But all in all, these are worriors
There maybe only 1 winner, but everyone is a hero to me. Very good coverage and highlight. Looking forward for next year.

The Kamaz truck filmed from the helicopter through the natural arch is probably one of the best pieces of motorsports film I've ever seen. Amazing coverage!
