@@FilipRanogajec It's already been shown that we'll have a problem similar to the 70s - 90s period when puritans and religious zealots wanted control of every facet of entertainment to push _their_ own agenda, and it will happen as soon as we push out the DEI addicted and BRIDGE-enforced crazies out of our lawn. All in all, I don't think we'll have much time to celebrate. The saddest part? This problem will come from within gamergate, which is something i called a long time ago.

With Trump in office, this madness has no more legs to stand on. It changes Common Knowledge (Chris Martenson). Now gamers privately know this, but I do not know that you also know. The polls give ammo to say - everyone knows this now, then it gets accepted as 'Facts', and the industry has to respond. Some will not want to change, but some were secretly against this, but were unwilling to buck the Blackrock agenda. They can say FU now. For instance Capcom had a poll showing 85% male gamers (shattering female gamer narratives), and Remedy (?) also had a poll with similar results, but they buried the results - didn't want to know. If the results did not matter, why did Remedy refuse to publish the results - they have the power, right?
The financial sector just started saying that woke culture is financial suicide for companies. The time for "Is not about money, is about sending a message" is ending. They NEED money to keep the message, but the message is not making money for them.

Lets set a core example: the Yakuza franchise (which is getting a new game early next year). A japan-based game that NEVER needed "inclusivity". At the same time you always had ALL kinds of characters across every single game. You had chinese, koreans, white people, black people, mixed people, women ranging from innocent girls who get caught up in the mafia business for one reason or another (like Makoto in Yakuza 0 and Haruka in both Yakuza 1 as a "main target" and 2 as bait for Kiryu) all the way up to badass and truly strong women like Kaoru Sayama who's a cop and a literal Yakuza huntress in her own right, and pretty much every other type of character I can think of. Much like everything else they make up, this "lack of inclusivity" is just another delusion of the senstive snowflakes who don't even play video games. They can twist things however they want, they'll have to admit at some point that they just want attention, money or both.
@@mikitadou I don't know what you expected after Yakuza 3 when the triology itself cemented the core style of the franchise, therefore I don't know what to tell you. As for Yakuza 0 being, in your own words, a "masterpiece"... well, I could argue this for days on end but Yakuza 0 is the Need For Speed: Most Wanted of the franchise (loved by the majority, and everyone who speaks against it is labled a troll, fake fan, etc.), so I won't waste my breath and only say this: it ruined what Yakuza Kiwami could've been.
If those 95% stopped buying games with any wokeness in it, even when they are attached to beloved IPs, that would've made difference. Until it happens, nothing will change. Therefore, that poll means nothing.
@nahkaboltsi6315 , you're talking about the original games nobody asked for. People will buy the next Witcher, GTA6 and TES6. I don't know about AC: Shadows, but I'm not holding my breath about that one either.

@@Counterbalance_the point is that some (enphasis on some) games that have more or less woke elements are still fun and have good gameplay (baldur's gate 3 being an example) so I think those 95% of people shouldn't be blamed for trying to search for a good game even if it may have some woke stuff in it. I mean if we had to stop playing any single video game (even the good ones) that have any kind of woke thing in them nobody should play tf2, oxygen not included, terraria, minecraft or any other game that has some woke element in them and that wouldn't look very good. DEI is like fighting an intruder who breaks into in your house. Even if you defeat the intruder, your house still gets destroyed in the process. DEI took over Star Wars and failed, but Star Wars is destroyed. DEI took over TV and Movies and failed, but our favorite TV shows and movies are destroyed. DEI took over gaming... and although gamers reject it... one IP after the next destroyed. Either way, the true DEI cultists win... if they can't rule your mind, they'll destroy what you love.
I agree, look what they did to Doctor Who, great tv show, then the DEI crowd took over, first a female Doctor, then a black one, guess what happened to the viewing figures and ratings
Go ahead, destroy what I love. I genuinely don't care. This "win" implies I can't live without my favorite IP's, games, movies, comics, etc. When I absolutely can. And to make things worse for the so called "winners" this has only emboldened my views on these people pushing these agenda's. I will move on to something better, I will make what I enjoy, I will learn from my past mistakes and I'll gatekeep harder, and I won't hesitate to shame anyone who is okay with this agenda that has been pushed to destroy our hobbies. Only thing they won on, is my patience. They have only made me stronger and more willing to stand by my beliefs. Not exactly a win, to me, lmao.
And that is exactly their end goal, to burn everything we love and care about to the ground. I also believe you, by the time this is all said and done. A lot franchises and gaming studios that support this rot, will no longer be around.
@@LaZd-We're right there with you, we will gatekeep no matter who's feelings get hurt or who has a problem with it. Us getting complacent and lazy is apart of the reason why things got this bad to begin with. It goes much deeper than that though. All funding/investment from big firms such as BR, demand DEI requirement be met or they go broke. Secondly, people in power have directly been injected by the ones trying to shift the narrative (I won't name them directly but you should know by now). For this reason, no Western AAA game will not be woke. It's time to support Indie and smaller studios, because it's a revolving door. A smaller studio makes tons of money, shareholder invest, their leadership gets replaced and DEI is injected. The best developers then leave and start their own studio because the vision of the franchise is lost. So it goes on with these parasites.
Even after bankruptcy, victory is not guaranteed. Even after killing the comics industry dead, they refuse to see the damage they have done, because they cannot admit they were the bad guys (bigots)
It's not that simple. It really doesn't have to do with funding, but it's more about control. It's a bit complicated, so I'll try to make it as simple as I can. Firms like Blackrock and Vanguard use OPM (Other People's Money) to buy up large stakes in companies. Wait a minute, if it's not their money, whose money is it? Well, if you have an mutual fund, ETF, 401k or pension, it might be yours. What that does gives these firms, which act as custodians, the right to vote the company's shares as they see fit, shares which technically belong to other people. Among the things they can vote on is who gets to sit on the company board of directors which chooses the executives that actually run things and which might include hiring some DEI true believers. These people are so scared of losing their phony-baloney jobs that there willing to dance to these investment firms' tune even though they might know it's stupid and spells disaster for the company.
@@sacredpower7530 There's a few things you can do, even though they're minuscule, even microscopic, in effect. If you have a mutual fund or 401k, look at who the fund manager is. If it's BlackRock, State Street, or Vanguard, move it to a different fund family company. There's lots of them and they pretty much offer the same investment choices and you can typically transfer at no cost to you. Most company 401k's give you a choice of who and how you want to invest and you can usually transfer to a different mutual fund again at no cost. With pensions though, it's out of your hands and the pension fund manager decides where to put your money. Like I said, it's microscopic, but at least you'll know you're not part of the problem.
Stop buying those games and play older games or games from independent small studios, that care about the player's experience and entertainment. The problem will be resolved over time.
What apeals to men and women are different in some areas, including gaming. If your target audience and fans for a games is mainly men, then make it appealing to them.
Led Zeppelin sold 300 million album copies without localizing them. That is about a $3 billion earned. Even if you can get all the Chinese people buy a CD for $1, that is less.
There are some women in even Neversoft when watching like Hip-Hop Chairs in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. They look like proud members and even new game system winners.
And this is why Non-American gaming studios are becoming more popular i.e. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, European. They don't have to deal with this bullshit here in America. I love Warhorse, Capcom, Ghostship, Arrowhead, etc. It sucks but we did it to ourselves by getting rid of bullying lol.
I have no problems with inclusion and diversity, in fact i do think its important. what i have a problem with is when its takes priority over the game itself! i want great stories and gameplay. you want to put any political agenda in after those im fine with it as long as it is lore friendly, isn't taking away from the game and most importantly isn't a selling point! once you use DEI as a selling point the game is done, if it cant be sold on its own merits then its obviously a bad game. games first!
Agreeing. Too many times, the writers will water down a character who looks like me. Like why include “me” if I’m just some token prop? It’s offensive. Diversity can range from looks, to belief, to a host of other things. I just want a well written and designed game I can enjoy. The poorly written fan fiction I’m very tired of and is driving me away from more and more games I would traditionally purchase.
I graduated college in 2021 with a bachelor's in game art/development. As a straight white male, I'm being denied constantly entry-level jobs because i dont fit the criteria they want. On many applications i have read for gaming jobs it even has women and people of minority status. You do not need to be qualified to apply and be considered for the position.
To be fair, "over 10,000" people isn't a lot considering the tens of millions that play video games. So it's probably not a super accurate number. But it does show a trend. A very prominent trend at that. The majority of gamers at the very least don't care about DEI and possibly even dislike/hate it.
The inclusivity is only a pull-in for very few people. If a game has a fox in it, I might buy or play it, but that alone does not make a game good for me.
Our small city, in the reddest of red states where even the feds tread more carefully than anywhere but Idaho, had a black mayor in a city with a six percent black population. Of course he is center right. Inclusivity doesnt mean we have to support left wing minorities. Real inclusivity is about ideology not skin color

So what! The issue is WHY they do this when it invariably fails. Its as if they are compelled cuz fiscally they are bleeding money. It's the definition of insanity. So why do they do it?
The sad part is that they apparently needed a poll to tell them this. If they were actually interested in game development and not activism, then they wouldn't have needed anyone to tell them that. They would have known that the core thing that's important to gaming is good game play and/or a good story. If done correctly, inclusivity comes naturally and doesn't need some forced activist bs to wave a flag about it. That's why the games industry used to be naturally diverse. What they refuse to acknowledge is that they burned that diverse talent with poor management and abuse of said talent running them out of the industry with crap like that "Bioware Magic" that they used to pull or EA tanking studio after studio.
When someone says “inclusivity” you have to take the extra step to determine if they actually mean that, or if that word is just propagandistic cover for what is actually just another flavor of discrimination.
Companies overall don't understand how it is supposed to work. We have a DEI program and it means we've expanded where we go to career fairs in places we'd not normally go. So we've added a couple more black and Indian engineers, but they still need to know their stuff. Our reputation is more important than any diversity gold star.
we keep hearing about this "diversity" that is always about adding "more latinas, black people, indians and asians" which indicates that all this idea of diversity comes exclusively from the US. How countries like Kazakhstan where I was born supposed to fill in quotas of blacks, latinas and indians? There are more than 100 nationalities living in kazakhstan, but none of them are in the "diverse" list. And there are more countries that have their own ethnic mixes, but those are never mentioned in any "diversity" speeches

I'm not white myself but i hate seeing characters suddenly change race or seeing some unrealistic representation of a certain race in a game or movie.
Yea the Black Washing needs to seriously stop.
I don't think Rosie O'Donnell as Mrs.Freeze would make much of a villain more like a nightmare.
To me, that thing would be nothing more than a joke villain. But the most stupid one possible.
In DC law the reason Mr Freezes goes nuts is he can not find a cure for his wife
I would have no problem with that if they just admitted that she's not the real Freeze!
...And then gave us him as a playable character!😅
Thats a villain that'd get offed half way through 😂😂😂😂

You are spot on with this. I don't know why, but I've heard some people assert this weird revisionist history where there were a bunch of people who were being oppressed in 2005, as if 2005 was more similar to 1945 than now. Like, what? No, it was virtually the same as now, except now the internet speed is faster, and we talk about Transformers a lot more.
They will also pretend certain groups are "oppressed" - as if we don't have countless examples of success stories.
Stop putting yourself in the games and leave the actors out too.
One day, when these people disappear from the industry, that will be one hell of a fine day to celebrate.
By the way, I like the new style! 😏
@@FilipRanogajec
It's already been shown that we'll have a problem similar to the 70s - 90s period when puritans and religious zealots wanted control of every facet of entertainment to push _their_ own agenda, and it will happen as soon as we push out the DEI addicted and BRIDGE-enforced crazies out of our lawn. All in all, I don't think we'll have much time to celebrate.
The saddest part? This problem will come from within gamergate, which is something i called a long time ago.
The Gamers will deliver us from this madness. keep hammering the other side, they're losing it.
D E i is like a building being maintained for decades with no problems, but eventually it gets
new management, gets neglected and eventually burnt down from faults in the maintenance.
It gets audited to fix the structure, and the management maintains there isn't a problem,
but it continues too lose money, and the tenants start to leave and the units stay vacant.
ESG/DEI needs to just fade away. I hear it's slowly dying down anyway. Can't wait for this stuff to stop.
If you truly believe DEI is dying then... well... I suppose we'll cross that BRIDGE when the time is right
Its not, they are just moving on or getting more subtle about it until the heat dissipates and/or they have bigger numbers for another push.
Every decade more and more nonsense becomes normalized. First it was the Gs and Ls, now its the Ts - 5 years from now it will be the Ps.
@@Shyhalu before Gs and Ls it was sexual revolution, without that nothing else is possible
With Trump in office, this madness has no more legs to stand on. This ideology has been exported from the U.S. and will collapse, once the massive amounts of money pushing that ideology from the U.S. have stopped. Sadly, it may take up to 10 years until the last games and movies affected by this ideology will be released.
If you think that I've got a BRIDGE to sell you.
Modern game developers who shame gamers, say things that reflect themselves ☝️
It is up to all of you.
How many more polls will they need to understand that DEI is not needed in entertainment mediums?
Who woulda thought gamers wanted entertainment in their entertainment lol
Since audience was so vocal for months, why does anybody bother to do the poll now? What will it change ?
Nothing. Companies like these nowadays only care about spreading a woke message. They couldn't give a damn what their customers actually want.
Companies hate customers nowadays.
It changes Common Knowledge (Chris Martenson).
Now gamers privately know this, but I do not know that you also know.
The polls give ammo to say - everyone knows this now,
then it gets accepted as 'Facts', and the industry has to respond.
Some will not want to change, but some were secretly against this,
but were unwilling to buck the Blackrock agenda. They can say FU now.
For instance Capcom had a poll showing 85% male gamers (shattering female gamer narratives), and Remedy (?)
also had a poll with similar results, but they buried the results - didn't want to know.
If the results did not matter, why did Remedy refuse to publish the results - they have the power, right?
The financial sector just started saying that woke culture is financial suicide for companies. The time for "Is not about money, is about sending a message" is ending. They NEED money to keep the message, but the message is not making money for them.
Thanks for reporting sir.
Everyone says diversity in games and movies is great, but no one can tell me why. Train to Busan was amazing. 0 diversity. Peninsula, the loose sequel, had a white dude and a black lady in it. Shit film. Can anyone explain this? Please?
RePrEsEnTaTiOn 😆
@@Imnotgivingmynametoamachine
That's your own opinions and tastes vs something that can be done naturally.
What you're mentioning there is simply natural diversity (or lack thereof). What we're pushing back against is forced diversity brought upon entertainment by a bunch of mentally ill narcisists.
I'll reject the real stuff too
That 5% were not gamers.
Why would anyone care about this at all? Fun fact, not everyone likes everyone. So, pretending and forcing inclusivity is beyond laughable.
Well they obviously don't want money. It seems to burn them like silver does to a vampire.
I LOVE the yakuza/like a dragon games
Don't jinx it....I couldn't continue playing yakuza because of the mind numbing repetitiveness after Yakuza 3. But Yakuza 0 was and is a masterpiece.
@@kyleanderson449
NOW it does. Some 10 odd years ago though? It did them wonders.
@@mikitadou
I don't know what you expected after Yakuza 3 when the triology itself cemented the core style of the franchise, therefore I don't know what to tell you.
They will never learn like Disney star wars and marvel
Optics of a Black character slashing away in feudal Japan, hope they don't waste money marketing it there.
If those 95% stopped buying games with any wokeness in it, even when they are attached to beloved IPs, that would've made difference. Until it happens, nothing will change. Therefore, that poll means nothing.
you are right, but most woke games have flopped catastrophically
i think the bigger problem is the non existing based games without any wokeness
@nahkaboltsi6315 , you're talking about the original games nobody asked for. People will buy the next Witcher, GTA6 and TES6. I don't know about AC: Shadows, but I'm not holding my breath about that one either.
@@Counterbalance_ no, even the popular franchises have flopped, althought not as bad as unkown ones, but dragon age is good example of it or pretty much everything ubisoft has put out. I think that gta 6 will be massive, but it will also be the point when gamers finally fully awake what a woke s*t show the gaming industry is. according to stats 85% of game time was spent on older games than this year, and new game sales have also dropped 30%
It would only look like a petty action made just because gamers have a childish grudge on the industry.
It's sucks knowing that our fight against this filth is far from over but we need to remain ever vigilant if we are to beat back this sickness.
Unfortunately you’re right, until the DEI nonsense is stopped then this cycle will continue.
Even after bankruptcy, victory is not guaranteed.
Even after killing the comics industry dead,
they refuse to see the damage they have done,
because they cannot admit they were the bad guys (bigots)
@@kurt9395So how do we fight back against something this complicated besides voting with our wallet?
If they have 0 intention on writing a good character that looks like me, then they should just not do it
It's time to take back the power from these woke folk. These studios are ruining our games! Now, cat's outta the bag and they can't take it back.
I don't know how it would benefit them.. no one's buying their games they will lose their jobs.. hopefully.
Led Zeppelin sold 300 million album copies without localizing them. That is about a $3 billion earned. Even if you can get all the Chinese people buy a CD for $1, that is less.
most of it was earned by the label, not by them. But yes they did see some good chunk of change even if theirs was a smaller cut
There are some women in even Neversoft when watching like Hip-Hop Chairs in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. They look like proud members and even new game system winners.
No inclusively, no mocap. Just good stories and characters please.
I am shocked. Shocked!
Imagine Steam and Sony also do a public poll 🗿🤣
more like 99%
And this is why Non-American gaming studios are becoming more popular i.e. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, European. They don't have to deal with this bullshit here in America. I love Warhorse, Capcom, Ghostship, Arrowhead, etc. It sucks but we did it to ourselves by getting rid of bullying lol.
I am fine with the animated avatar.
I can’t stop looking at your eyes they’re like hypnotizing me…all hail the Hypno toad
5:46 7:22 I love the extra level of animation that you have for your avatar now. Keep up the good work and reporting!
97% is strong. Curious of how was the question asked.
Gamers hate DEI and companies still don't get it. "You can't fix stupid. Stupid is forever." - Ron White
We have no time to hate you can't give people burnt food expect them to pay for it
This is U.N. 1world Government 101
organic diversity fine. corporate diversity no thank you.
No one has an issue with inclusivity it’s WHAT you’re trying to push as the guise of Inclusivity that’s we hold a gripe with.
Good! Now that there’s some actual data about this maybe investors can take notice, and this BS can die off.
To the surprise of *ABSOLUTELY NO ONE!!!!*
Our small city, in the reddest of red states where even the feds tread more carefully than anywhere but Idaho, had a black mayor in a city with a six percent black population. Of course he is center right. Inclusivity doesnt mean we have to support left wing minorities. Real inclusivity is about ideology not skin color
The activists and defenders will just double down and say the poll were selected for only certain groups and so the numbers is wrong.
Damn that tiny 95% minority rejecting DEI!!!
And yet they will still catter to the 5% that wants it.
SBI is making all of these companies losing MILLIONS. If i lost my company even 500 I'd be fired.....SBI must be giving these clients "happy endings" to close their deals.
We don't want "normal" DI&E nonsense either. Especially the tokens.
let them put money where their mouth is. let them spend time and capital on it. don't clue them in, just let them DEI.
NOTE: I will only buy games that SBI admits they worked on along with the studio that's working with them. FULL CREDITS. Otherwise, they can go the way of the dodo.
I see I'm getting shadow banned again. oh well..
Somebody commented me from one of his video, saying that the reason why they have Mrs Freeze was to have more female employment. Like dude, if you want a ice character, there Killer Frost. They even have two animation of her from Suicide Squad.
I bet what angers them more than anything is that they couldn’t call Abdullah a white supremacist
I just started to see your avatar, Hypnotic, and Got Dang, I gotta say you look cool!
Wallets will remain closed until the lesson has been learned.
Diversity for me use to be, your console, pc, or favorite series. Still is we don't have to agree u like what you like i like what I like.
"soooo, what your saying is you want REAL DEI?" that's probably what there thinking lol.
Sadly that 5% is the loudest so they get the grease. Also the loan companies force it.
That one dev
‘yes sweet baby inc wants the gaming industry burned to the ground!!’
Also the same game dev
‘Wait why can’t I get work in gaming any more?!!’
I bet you thats a rounded number and the actual rejection rate is probably closer to 97% disapproval.
"decades ago" 😮😮😮
So what! The issue is WHY they do this when it invariably fails. Its as if they are compelled cuz fiscally they are bleeding money. It's the definition of insanity. So why do they do it?
Go have a coffee with your marketing team and just terrify them with the idea of losing 95% of their sales just for including anything DEI-related.
When someone says “inclusivity” you have to take the extra step to determine if they actually mean that, or if that word is just propagandistic cover for what is actually just another flavor of discrimination.
im shock he got a Vtuber character up and moving
Game devs who forced d31 into their games will now only have 5% of their expected revenue
If you want them to remember this lesson, keep your wallet closed
5% is still an audience for inclusivity heavy games. But it's not financially sustainable for big Companies.
Without finding racism DEI consultants are unemployed
Goes back to what i told my brother, they are trying to make games for 5% of the audience but heres the problem. 2% wont even play the game they just want the message out, the other 2% will get the game but would want refund cause it done meet their standards which it never will. So in reality its only 1% of people they want to make this game for.
99 % are against diversity in games.
i think that poll saying 95% of gamers don't care about inclusivity in games is inaccurate, i think it's closer to 98%-99%.
The world is healing.
oh shit, first time seeing the vtuber model, nice.
