You have no ideal how helpful this video is. I love working with my hands and clay has always been on the top of my chart. And now it's like I'm addicted to polymer clay! I can't get enough! Your video has given me even more ways to create that which is beautiful...THANK YOU so much!
Wow, you are so crazy talented. LOVE the pouch tut and can't wait to try it!!! I love all things "vintage" and the trims you used were beautiful! Love the idea in making them for the pendants! Very glad I came across your channel, Linda! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks a million Lynn, they're so much fun to make, and I'm sure your daughter will Love getting one, please share what you create, cause I'd just Love to see!!! thanks and smiles, Linda
I've recently started working with fimo and I’ve just found this video and have to say that it ROCKS. the pendants about punkish, gothic and stylish all at the same time. I've just started making a set of zombie theme jewellery for a friend of mine and your video has given me tons of funky ideas that I can do. Thank you for the amazing inspiration :)
Yeah, that's typical isn't it. I've just run out of clay myself and was trying to get some the other day, but they only had those itty bitty packets and that's just not enough, lol. I guess I have to order some online :) I'm really happy you like my work and I'm so happy to have inspired you. I Love the tiles you made, they came out perfect!! thanks for sharing and thank you so much for all your kind words, I really appreciate it!! hugs and smiles, Linda
This hearts are so gorgeous Linda. Love love them and thank you so much for taking the time to show us how to make them. It is so kind of you :-) Warm hugs, Anne
OMGness Linda, these pendants are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! :o) I am sooo very lucky to already have a fabulous one from you and I am wearing it a lot, because I LOVE it so much. Thank you for sharing this awesome tutorial!! Big hugs, Leonie.
These pendants are fantastic. I love all the detail you have put into them. I must try to make one for my daughter. I think she will love it. Thanks so much for the tutorial. You are very creative. Hugs Lynn
Thanks Anne, I'm really happy you like them :) I hope the quality of my filming was ok, so that you could see what I was doing :) have a wonderful day Anne, hugs and smiles, Linda
Oh thanks :) you're too kind!! I use perfect pearls to colour my clay pieces :) Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment Sheree :) hugs and smiles, Linda
lol, thanks :) I'm happy you like the puches, they are a lot of fun to make too :) I'm so happy to have inspired you :) happy creating, hugs and smiles, Linda
I also cut out words and shapes of butterflies, ballerina, fairies and such on my cameo silhouette in tiny sizes and use to impress into clay, then remove...Great work! Love all of them.
Thanks :) I'm happy to hear you were inspired by the video :) The 'paint' is perfect pearls or any kind of mica powders :) when I google perfect pearls, I get some info about ranger's perfect pearls pigment powders. that's what I've used :) tfw, have fun with your polymer clay, hugs and smiles, Linda
lol thanks Leonie :) I'm really happy you like your pendant and I'm so happy you like my new ones :) They are so much fun to make!! Hugs and Love, Linda
These are just lovely!!! Can you please show how you add the loop that you put your chain through? Do you bake it with it in or glue later? Need help. Thank you.
I couldn't of watched this last week when the clay was on sale for 99 cents.. lol.. well at least now I know what colors to start with.. thanks for sharing, I love all your work and I am going to post my video on my tiles I made. they came out so nice. you are awesome Barb
Thanks, I'm happy you like them!! I just glue them on after it's baked :) I bought them on Etsy, they're called bails :) Hope this was helpful, tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda
I used bails I got off an etsy seller, I'll pm you the details of the seller and type of bails. I didn't embed them, I just glued them down with crazy glue, the sort that dries in seconds, so wear rubber gloves when glueing to avoid gettin stuck to the pendant or bail :) I'm so happy you like my tutorial :) hugs and smiles, Linda
Hi Linda, loved this tutorial. Your pendant hearts are fabulous and so now with the Steampunk craze. Guess I need some pefect pearls. Was wondering how the gems held up in the baking procrss. I really like the ones with the pearls added. tfs, Sandra
Thanks for sharing these awesome ideas, these are lovely, could you tell me where you got that floral embossing sheet & I saw that you had a key, could you shows us all here, how you put that into your designs, thanks again.
I'm still learning the basics of working with clay. So far I love it. How long would you cure a piece like this? I wasn't sure if 30 min would be enough for this thickness so I haven't baked mine yet.
Thank you for your video, i think the pendants are gorgeous! i especially love the colors. can you tell me what you are using for color. i see the powdery like stuff in the container but i don't know what it is. i would love to get some
Yes, eye shadow should work just fine :) I also recently saw that viva decor's inka gold can be used with polymer clay, and when rubbed on carefully before baking it becomes permanent :) have fun creating, hugs and smiles, Linda
Thanks, yes it all goes inn the oven, lol. And most of it can actually take the heat, cause you only bake it according to the instructions on the package of your choice of clay, and they all bake at fairly low temp. :) my acrylic flower bling melted a bit, but I just glued down new ones when they had cooled down, lol. have fun, hugs and smiles, Linda
I really enjoyed this video! You've inspired me to try out some new ideas by adapting your technique to make my own pendants. But I did not understand what you said about the "paint" you used on your pendants. I did a search on perfect pearls and came up with nothing. Did you use an embossing powder? Thanks for your help!
Beautiful Linda I love them. Could you tell me what type of bails your using and did u get them online please. Are they embedded or glued. Brilliant tutorial and thanks for sharing. Lynne
how cool is that!! I don't have a favourite I've just used fimo polymer clay, cause that's what I could get my hands on, lol. But I do have a favourite book on polymer clay, that's tought me everything I know, the book by Laurie Mika, available on amazon. I attach the bails after baking the clay. I use crazy glue, the kind of glue that dries in seconds and is very, very strong, so I always use gloves when I glue, so I don't get stuck, or glue my fingers together in the process :) xoxo Linda
These are great :) i love the little face you put on the one heart, and was wondering if you could tell us the name of the mold sheet with the faces that you used? And where you purchased it.
Hi :) you just need to stroke the clay lightly to remove prints :) you might also achieve it by brushing it with a soft brush. tfw, happy crafting, hugs and smiles, Linda
I cure mine for 30 minutes and it works fine for me :) as long as your oven shows the correct temperature 30 minutes should be sufficient!! tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda
beautiful art work,im so impressed and like the other watchers cannot wait to try this myself, some of the nicest steampunk type cabochons ive seen. The color work by itself is very appealing and very nice use of mixed media on some. :) I gave you a thumbs up and subbed,ty for sharing with us
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your art with us all. I have metallic powder that I have been saving, so now I know what to do with it. Do you recommend rubbing it on the piece before baking?
You're welcome :) I'm so happy you like it!! Yes, I do recommend you rub it on before baking, that way it will stick properly to your piece. Have fun, tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda
they are fantastic.. i just had one quesn.. what colors do u use here?? r they some kind of metallic dust?? they look really nice.. if possible let us know..XOXO
enjoyed this video - I have one questions. When you made the heart with the pearls did you take off the pearls bake and glue it back? Hope this makes sense.
I use crazy glue, the kind of glue that dries in seconds, it's perfect for this purpose. Also remember to use rubber gloves to protect your skin from the glue, and from gettin stuck to the item you're gluing :) hugs and smiles, Linda
So happy you like them!! I'm sorry but I don't remember the name of the molds, it's sort of a sheet with face molds and I just searched ebay for face molds to find them :) hope you find them too :) tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda
I got the molds off an ebay seller, just search for silicone face molds on ebay, etsy or just google it and I'm sure you'll get lucky :) tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda
Those pendants looks so beautiful, by the way is that possible to use eyeshadow insted of that colors, because i do not think i can find something like that at my country.Anyway is that some kind of a powder color?
Thanks :) no paints, just perfect pearls. But I know that Laurie Mika says in her book that she uses acrylic paints too. Just seal it with some gloss or matte medium, to preserve the paint :) hope this helps, hugs and smiles, Linda
thank you for replying, i see that now on the very beginning. i have another question for you. do you put this in the oven when you are done? or do you let it air dry? i was wondering because i thought the jewels might melt in the oven.
Thanks :) I bake my hearts with everything and if something melts I just remove it and add a new piece. The heat you bake them with is not so high so most things will survive the baking process. if you use glass beads you can be totally sure it will bake ok :) tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda
Hi, I use plastic and glass beads, whatever I have :) and if it melts in the oven, which most times it will not do, cause of the low baking temp and short baking time with polymer clay, but if it does melt I just peel it off and glue down new ones :) tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda
beautiful, i know you have to cook that but do you push the Perls and decoration then take them off to cook then glue them? wont they melt? can you tell i never done that but think its sooooo beautiful.
I push everything in before baking, it's baked on such a low temperature following the instructions specified on the package that most of the stuff wont melt, and if anything does, I just peal it off and stick a new one in after baking :) tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda

Thanks, I'm happy you like them :) And yes this and one more video are the only two so far on polymer clay :) tfw, hugs and smiles, Linda
I also cut out words and shapes of butterflies, ballerina, fairies and such on my cameo silhouette in tiny sizes and use to impress into clay, then remove...Great work! Love all of them.
