This felt very American…watered down Tae Kwon doe-ish. Still enjoyable to watch, but there is such a vast difference in the black belts that come out of Korea vs America. I’ve been to the Kukkiwon and trained with the traveling Olympic teams in another life. I hope the choreography will change next time and challenge these Martial Artists more. Edit: No, I have to change my comment. I rewatched this. This is straight painful to watch. These are not the caliber of black belts I would expect to see. The pitiful kicks are like something out of those cheesy 80’s movies where you KNOW the actor has no idea how to deliver a proper kick. Go back to the basics and work on your flexibility and form. I’m embarrassed watching this and seeing black belts on all of them. But, I don’t blame these kids one bit. It’s the instructors I take issue with. It’s a tough industry and I understand the need to make people feel like their progressing, which also offers money into the pockets of the school for all the testing and belts. Sorry, kind of ranting here, but watered down Tae Kwon Doe is absolutely ruining the martial arts in America. It’s sad
