Yes its bad business but if you set a wage structure you have to stick to it regardless. Hagi is not a fool he knew when he was in the B team it was only for a season and he could move on in the summer for free and that would make him an attractive proposition for many clubs as they can use the money they save on the transfer fees to pay him a higher salary.

Offer him 18k pw on a new 4 year deal . Every chance we will need to pay Genk money down the line . Hagi can sit back & hope Genoa can beat the drop in Serie A long enough to put an offer on the table .
