Hi guys, it is always good to see the development in Thailand undertaken by us, Ferangs. There is no doubt about the income supply chain, but when you see how it is done, you want to climb the first tree. My comment might spark some debate, but get in the guys that have been building here for years, such as Bryan Builder, Thailand; he has a channel where he shows his work, highly recommended. He speaks Thai and his team members are very professional, plus his quotes are within budget.
Our builder has been building quality, farrung style, for years also. We spoke with Brian a year or so ago. He said he was retiring after this Phi Chit build but offered to take 20,000 baht to do the drawings. We do like his work but he's retiring, so no longer an option. Thanks for commenting.
i notice houses built with first floor elevated above ground 1meter or more; probably because of floods during rainy season? your uploads are amazing. thanks
Gday Paul, just started to get into the Thailand builds recently. I am following you and interested in the progress. I dont think anyone can say that the foundations on houses here are weak. The steel is massive. I see what people build in Australia for 1 million dollars and its garbage.....weak construction and basically rubbish. My family is concerned about me building here....and i told them rather build here than Australia. We will be starting early next year. Hope to catch up with you one day. Cheers Monty
@@montyman-j G'day Monty, thanks for watching and commenting. There are real concerns with construction here but so long as you do your research, find a good builder, and monitor progress on-site, not from Australia or elsewhere, you can get a very high quality build in Thailand.
Hi Paul and Aor Good to see things moving along mate , we are running a little behind you as far as 2nd ring beam , thanks for update Have they started your Great Wall yet ? Gary and Mon 50/50
@@GaryMon5050 G'day Gary and Mon, hope you're well. The great wall won't start till around half way through the build. All efforts on the house at the moment.
Hey Paul, the progress continues. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
@@ParadiseNThailand G'day Kenny and Sompit. Yeah it's progressing but seems slow at times. Hopefully they'll pour concrete Monday.

Yes, it does help with flooding but for us it's improved the view also.
