- A tour guide demonstrates a giant concave mirror that creates a perfect image.
Find the follow-up video of science educator Ron Hipschman, demonstrating the mirror trick he mentions in this video here: • Man "Walks Through" Mi...
I thought it was clever how the sound will bounce to the mirrored person but nobody seemed to care. Then he reflects a light on the mirror and everyone freaks out
I understand how it works but it still blows my mind everytime
Someone do this with a mirror and post it on reddit ASAP!!
The reflecting whisper is very cool!
Here's another stunning fact: mirrors not only reflect visible light, but also anything in the EM spectrum.
If you put a hot object in front of the mirror (no closer than F so it produces a real image), *you'll feel warmth where the image should be,* because the mirror also reflects the infrared emitted by the hot object, and gets focused at the point where the image is.
Amazing
Very Nice
REDDIT DEMANDS A MIRROR!
See "Tim's Vermeer" for a very interesting application of the concave mirror.
Awsomeness
We made a video that continues where this one leaves off. Here's Ron Hipschman “walking through” our Giant Mirror: ruclips.net/video/h0K5a2rkNFY/видео.html
Awesome! Thanks for following up!
I want this in my house ASAP!
Aria?
This remembers me this types of toys: Magic Mirrors Projecting 3D Illusions : DigInfo
How can we see real image inside the mirror where it should be in front of mirror?
Which gallery was this mirror displayed in?
LubaTV Gabbie Fadel Vocês tem que mostrar isso pra gente no Canal de vocês!! Beijos :*
Physics is fucking awesome
So theoretically we could use a very large mirror and beam energy at spaceships very far away? Could this be used as propulsion? It'd save a lot of power, if we could put the warp drive on the moon or similar stationary to serve as launch stations as we explore space.
My god, you're a fucking genius. You've been here, on RUclips, all this time and we've been missing your brilliance. Incredible.
You're really adding to the conversation. What enlightening dialogue. A cornucopia of insights. Try harder.
I don't think so. Radiation gets dissipated very easily with distance. Although I think radiation does create pressure so it could be a possibility.
Brian, why wouldn't you do it directly without using a mirror ? :O
GunsAndJR Thats because a concave mirror can focus photons easily as opposed to just shooting out the light like a torch.

I don't see why people think this is so amazing, have they ever used a mirror be for?
You have concave mirrors readily available?
Mirror mirror on the wall who's fairest of them all.
Science is the fairest.
sorcery!
WHAT?
mindfuck
I wonder if he can hear them flapping their mouths with that gum when he talks in the mirror.
How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?
I'm amazed that they didn't already know these things o.o
Fucking magnets, how do they work?
Scientists should just come out and admit they are using Dark Magic.
Violet Beauregarde traveled from Willy Wonka's factory to San Francisco!
fok :D
Don't touch optical surfaces!!
fake, it's a twin convention not a mirror.
that girl in the front was cute
close your mouth when youre chewing gum
Chew that gum.
How come the porn industry didn't utilize this concept?
Science... it's a bitch :)
Da fuq ?
SCIENCE BITCH!
Isn't this actually a convex mirror? Cool video nonetheless, though!
No, it's the concave mirror. Convex mirror can't do this because of the diverging property.
Its fake, there is just two groups of people who look similar. Can you see it in 1:36 where the people are different in the 'mirror'
