I had a small trade route locked down. Prices didn't change. Plundered both outposts in the route. Price didn't change. Did this for an hour. Seems random.
I believe because the economy is connected to all servers and not only the one you're on, this is to prevent economic abuse like what happened in No Man's Sky
@@PhuzzyBond huh I guess I get it. It's kinda odd though, one would think being a pirate and upsetting trade on a real level would be cool and new. Easy fix would be to limit the price range extremes.
theres also traders that sell more commodities than usual like 20 instead of 4 and ones that buy for way more than others so even though its a good deal you could get a better deal i havent sold any commodities for more than 359 exactly but thats like brandy and gin
I didnt expect to like the game this much. But I am still playing. The PVP can be chaos which I love. Especially when you grab some gold pieces and get the double up tjing with map marker.
BTW at 1:03 you listed out what's in Plentiful Supply? ... A few of those you'd get if you got the $100 version of the game ... and everyone is just gonna SELL that immediately for fast capital ... when they really should've taken it somewhere else for the max profit.
i just plunder level 5 areas and get 10k for 5 mins of work. I'm level 8 right now. EDIT* That doesn't include the coin i could get from selling off the plundered items.
Maybe because they are charging 70$ lying to people saying it's a "quadruple A game" and looks like a cashgrab insteed of something great like AC Black Flag? (Mind you that game was launch 11 years ago)
@@Indioh AC4 was also a single player game with 5 previous games of game mechanics to fall back on, so it wasn't made from scratch like SaB. AC4 also wasn't their first full game, they had an experienced team working on it that worked on previous titles. This is Ubi Sing's first game. Should I go on? Cause there is more I can point out. Also the AAAA is the Ubi CEO, which has nothing to do with the dev team. Also let's not pretend like Black Flag is a perfect game, it isn't.
@@trathanstargazer6421 I don't belive they start from scratch, is the same company, they should be able to use their resources. Also it has been in development for 11 years... what else released 11 years ago? right, Black Flag. 11 years to make a pirate game that look WORST than Black Flag, with meh gameplay and no boarding mechanic... on a pirate game... The hate is kinda deserved because of that and the fact that they are charging 70$, also the reviews are from "okay" to "really bad"
@@Indioh Technically the same company, but not the same people. Ubisoft is the big umbrella with offices the entire world over, with a bunch of sub offices underneath it. It's a completely different office with different resources and different people. They started from scratch. They had to bring resources over to Ubi Sing to help them even develop the game. The reason for the 11 years wasn't because of linear development, it faced constant internal problems, from lack of direction, creative directors leaving, and just general inexperience because they had never made a game before. Not even mentioning a toxic work culture. Ah yes, the boarding mechanic. You mean the one that relies on AC mechanics? That relies on AC combat and AC climbing? The one that relies on it being an SP game so you don't get attacked during boarding? I'm not going to protect them not putting it in SaB, they should have come up with something new. But everything Black Flag did right, it owes to the previous AC games. Black Flag was built on the back of the previous games and that helped elevate it. Black Flag did not get to where it was on its own. SaB does not have that same privilege. SaB is never going to be a GREAT game, and there is nothing wrong with that.
It depends on the relic, it will say on it which faction is interested in it. Then you go to any settlement from that faction and you'll get the option "I have something that might interest you"
Whats with all the people? No chance everybody that hates on the game has tried it, they all are a bunch of sheeps without an own opinion. Many people who played the game enjoyed it including me. If you'd watch even a few minutes of phuzzy's stream then you'd know that he likes the game
i dont have to play this to be able to compare it with Black Flag . 10+ years of development is abismal for this piece of shit. wtf are you drooling about@@100100freak
PPL like you are the problem, you "enjoying" this is the reason we are getting a worse game, 10 years later . NO excuses here, its pile of shit.@@100100freak
Uh hes played and made content on sot for the past 5 years, hes allowed to play other games its called a variety conten creater/streamer and it will help his channel so chill out
I like how the video is slow-paced and relaxing like your older Sea of Thieves guides. 🫡 Feels more personal. ❤ I am not a fan of fast explanations and cutting the video for only the action.
Thank you for the very detailed explanation.

These double green arrows are pretty rare. Ive been checking all traders and only found a few.

Shouldn't the price for lamba cloth in Saint Anne be relatively cheap because it's in plentiful supply? Why is it expensive?
ok maybe its cheap at another outpost or settlement in the same region
Thanks for the video really helpful, I’m actually loving this side of skull and bones with trading and the economy within the Indian Ocean!
finaly, a freaking descent guide... Cheers

6:16 What later game stuff were those two commodities for Curious so I can know why I should maybe save those up too
Once you Unlock the Helm they will be of use 🙂 usually after the Marauder rank.

This game is skull and bare bones
I Love this Guy!
Wth you lost me when you sold the brandy and gin in coast of Africa you could sell those for $355 in East Indies at corrupt DMC officers
How do you earn "sovereigns"?
You get those based on how much gold pieces you gathered from your drug and booze empire.
This game looks scuffed lol
sweaty sot players are crying that there is a new acceptable pirate game i said acceptable bc it really is not so good so far
Skull and bones is ass. 70 dollars for a game where you cant board, swim, no hand to hand combat, no weapons, its just like you play as the ship
@@Azact you are right i just finished the free trial and now i am so disgusted
At least I don’t have to buy a $500 Xbox so I can play sea of thieves soo I’ll take the $70 🤷♂️
Sot most likely will be coming to PlayStation soon
i know u are getting pay to play this game... but boy, u have some guts bcz this game sucks lol
